phoenix had a song on the 'lost in translation' soundtrack and i remember falling in love with the song during the movie. ('too young') it just has a good vibe to it♥ they are considered alternative. it's almost retro/indie-esque. i know a couple songs on this cd and i'm sure the rest won't dissapoint!

this band is an ultimate ivy band..! they are considered electronic. but still retro-indie-rock ish. a lot of it reminds me of an 80's pop group, but not totally cheesy like that. the vocalist sounds kind of similar to depeche mode. makes me wanna dance dance♥ i totally dig! if either of these bands come to seattle for a show, i'm SO there !
