gigantor...!

eeeeek!!!!!
we have encountered the biggest spider ever!!
at the casa de jamus... i'm telling you, this guy was huge!
even james was hesitant about how to get rid of it...
and seriously.. where did he come from?! and what is he eating that made him so big?!

i'm afraid these photos don't serve my point... i wish i took a closer photo and/or
put an object next to him for scale--but believe me, this was the biggest, thickest, fattest spider i've seen in washington... ooof!!
james is my hero...he's my official spiderminator whether he likes it or not♥
just imagining a spider walking on me while i'm asleep gives me the shivers...
eeeeeek!!!!

i spotted him at the 'target' in redmond... it's kinda hard to tell how tall he is but
he's really tall...! look how tiny the shopping cart looks! O_o
and on top of that, he had long hair AND wore a kilt...
this may not be totally strange...but in redmond, it is...

you know, those asian owned frozen yogurt shops.
they're pretty good--i usually get the original with blueberry.
i think next time i should try a flavored one...like the chocolate or coffee! mmmmmm♥

yes! lady gaga finally performed in the state of washington!
(poopily) at the tacoma dome though...
and i say that because i've seen a couple shows at the tacoma dome...and it's crap :(
i understand that it's (probably) the biggest venue we have near Seattle but...c'mon!
it's so old...and the sound is quite terrible... they need a serious update or blow it up and build a new one..!
our friend paul showed us around downtown tacome pre-show... i realized i never hung around tacoma before...some areas were quite nice☺

our seats? pretty far...well no, really REALLY far :(
so far in fact, that with the naked eye, miss gaga was just a speck...
they had giant tv screens for us but that just made it feel like i was watching her on tv..
but to hear her 'live' was awesome! ☺ (no lip sync at all)
her stage was visually striking and colorful --her singing was amazing, especially her piano-ballad performances...she's so talented!
that was full-on 'entertainment'♥ i just wish i was closer (>_<)

this show called for the strangest crowd... i saw GUYS wearing fishnets, hot-pants, bra AND 6 inch heels... these were guys!! so many of them too☺ i was impressed... i love shoes and i love my stilettos but i couldn't wear them for that long and walk back to my car...oy!

i caught a few gaga moments on my digi but i have yet to learn how to upload videos online...
i'll try to figure it out

so this is kind of "old news" but yesterday, seattle got rattled by a sonic BOOM!
a real friggin sonic boom!
what happened was, Obama was in town! (why don't i ever know these things?)
and a private mini plane flew into a restricted airspace...
2-F15s were launched from Portland, OR and it apparently took them 6 minutes to fly from portland to seattle..WOWZA!
we kind of freaked out at first, i mean our big building shook. i thought maybe a truck ran into the building or something...
i figure i could use this post to give a mini shout-out to
james' street fighter character--Guile's ultra "Sonic BOOM!"

a staring contest...?

i don't know too much about her but this is performance artist: Marina Abramovic.
this is an excerpt from her documentary film...
actor james franco challenges her to (what seems to be) a staring contest..but in an artsy way

i find it fascinating... i mean of course i couldn't do it but i'd love to challenge her!
i may just bust out laughing!
i wonder about the purpose of this...performance.
is it to feel powerful? intimidate?
i would feel powerful staring into a strangers eye...
(although that may not be her reason for this...)
eye contact is common-- happens all the time when we communicate to each other--but to just look straight into a persons eye is like looking straight into their soul or something...
definitely a "power-thing"..
anyway, thought this was interesting and i like james franco♥
i like his smile at the end ^_^

(i mentioned in a previous post) before chromeo took the stage, the opening band Telephoned did a pretty awesome set list. THEN--while waiting for Chromeo to play, the lead singer Dave 1 totally walked by in front of us!!!! he is really tall...

the smell of the sidewalk hot dog stands, or maybe it was the grilled onions..
either case, it smelled soooo goood even though i don't eat hot dogs.
erika got one though

we had so much fun!
and i'm glad i asked for the next work day off because i was extremely exhausted...
i don't know why but shows take so much of my energy...
