omg! these are undoubtedly adorable MJ keychains! ♥
i heart caricatures
we found it at Kinokuniya and they had every kind of classic MJ Move!
let's see herrr...that top one is of course "smooth criminal" and the bottom is from "billie jean".
they also had "beat it" "dangerous" moves
i know i know, why didn't i just get one?? ummm.. they were $11 ! kinda pricey if you ask me!

FIFA world cup 2010...♥

wow! soccer is so much fun to watch!
i've always liked playing soccer during my PE classes back in the day
(and all other racket sports)
and i recall attending a few soccer games during my high school years☺

i've been rooting for japan of course☺
USA wins too much of everything..(olympics, taking over the world...)
so i gave my support to japan!
of course by the time i started watching the games, japan had already won 2 games!♥
and surprised a lot of people actually... they were the last asian country standing...
unfortunately today, they played against Paraguay and lost :(
o well...they came pretty far.. farther than the US !

now i'd really love to attend a sounders game. i don't know how festive the sounders games are but from watching the World Cup in Africa, the audience is just ♥_♥!!
they are festive, loud, colorful, and..just FESTIVE!! and i love that!
it's like Japanese baseball games where people chant and make noise and wave flags.
but baseball in america is A-Boring!!!! it's so quiet you can hear people crack their peanuts...ugh!

hmmm...so how do i get my hands onto some Sounders tickets..?

Drake...'s coffee cake?

no~ i mean Drake, the hip hop canadian artist♥
(and in case no one caught it..the Drake's coffee cake is from a Seinfeld episode)
erika introduced me to him...since i completely shut off all radio music contact as of late...
i don't know any of these newcomers...falling a bit behind!
so...hip hop/rap is not my absolute favorite genre...but drake has it♥
and yes..i admit, it's mainly his beats that i absolutely love!!
the best way i can describe it is.."pretty""beautiful"-beats.

the cool thing about drake is he sings too...and i think he's good.
versus eminem who has tried to sing in a few of his songs...and i didn't like it.
he clearly isn't meant for singing... but with drake, i think he can pull it off ♥

deck partay...!

our monthly work deck party was today♥ and YAY for the suN!
i got a shot of the beautiful waterfront.
i enjoyed a garden burger and we sat and chilled on the deck for half an hour... and i started sweatin! might have tanned a bit too...
and i noticed the sculpture park had something going on...turns out, this summer they're trying to do a farmer's market every week! how perfect--I've been trying to see the Redmond farmer's market for sometime now and i never make it... so I'm gonna check out the market post-work today! :D man...it feels like a Friday today...

now that xine has moved her cubicle i don't see her much...
i visited her today and found this cute little fella on her desk.

found and brought back from diving♥

bake sale...!

check it out! we got 2 carts worth of baked goodies to sell at work today♥
our department participated in the push-the-cart selling:)
we had to go through 4 different floors
all donations go to the Alzheimer's Association
and today we raised over $500 !

(rainy) summer solstice...!

the annual summer solstice @ Fremont has arrived this Saturday!
i don't know if this is a seattle tradition only, or if summer solstice means to get naked and bike around. but here in seattle (fremont) any people who dare--will get naked and stroll around/parade around fremont♥ i've yet to attend this crazy event. i was planning to go this year, but i couldn't find an east-side partner to go with. plus it was unfortunately a rainy day. plus it runs from noon-2pm and i slept in rather late... BOO!!!
but here's a photo my co-worker sent me.
i'll have to try harder for next year...and hope for some actual summer SUN next year..

Orexi is (i thought it was a Mediterranean restaurant) but it's a Greek restaurant..but then i was told Mediterranean and Greek are the same so... Medi-Greek restaurant!
back when i adored meat more than i do now, i got their lamb meat ( i think ) and i recall it being super delicious! so i tried a veggie dish... kinda bombed on that one :(
i got the spinach phillo which is basically a croissant type pastry with spinach and cheese inside... which the french bakery @ crossroads pleases my stummy better... so that was poo-ey. but the rest of my dish had yummy potatoes and veggies!
erika had a eggplant dip .. SUUUPER good♥

o, and their lentil soup? to DIE for ! best lentil soup i've had♥
