i came into work to this surprise!!
i got a hello kitty easter egg♥
filled with candy and stickers and that suuper cute skull pin♥
awesome monday!
--except for our stupid fire drill out in the rain today >:(

i can't remember what all the categories were, but there were 8 categories!

i remember there was:
ugliest egg
prettiest egg
one you'd find in disco
one that looks like a kitteh
one that looks like a dead president
best facial hair egg
....can't remember what else...

anyway, i decided to enter 2 eggs for the "prettiest egg".

this one is purple-metallic with ribbons and gold star stickers all around!
ooO~Oo pretteh!

this one is more "cute" than pretty...
i made felt flowers and super-glued them all around!
there were lots of submissions for this category so my chances of winning are slim..
we'll see!

a gray strand of hair.....

i found my first gray strand of hair...!!!!
i was straightening it over the weekend and spotted a noticeably shiny strand of hair....
i had to check it from different angles before i was sure it was a gray hair...
omg...can i blame this on pregnancy??

i still can't believe it... i pulled the hair out and i taped it to my mirror...
i'm gonna show erika next time she comes over.

i may have experienced every stage of sleepiness today...
i even left work early and took a 3 hour nap when i got home!
oy... i wish we could have nap sessions at work... some quiet time to re-energize!

so this was on Friday--i was exhausted after work so i was being a lazy bum sleeping on the sofa.... then jamus came home and said he bought me a funny April Fool's card.

(?_?) w-w-whuh?! OH EM GEE!

i freaked out at first... it was on April fool's day so i repeatedly asked him if he was joking.
that would be so mean!
but it's no joke!♥ he just thought it would be funny to do it on April fool's day.
after midnight i asked to make sure this was real!
yes it's the real deal!
i said yes♥ OF COURSE!!
*followed by snotty embarassing happy tears*

he bought me red roses, non-alcoholic champagne (mamechan) and a ring-pop for now!
cherry flavored! (mmm loved ring pops when i was a kiddo)

as for ring shopping, he wanted me to go with him so we'll see! i've never ring shopped before... i have no clue! so happy i still can't believe it...
