graffiti in chinatown...!

really old crumbly building in chinatown...

the roof was plastered in graffiti art...
it was an accessible roof but...hehe, too scared to go in.
afterall, it could be someones turf!

i remember when i was a kiddo in japan, all the obasan's wore these honking huge glasses..

finally got my dim sum experience this weekend!
i've been to the one in seattle before but upon my LATE arrival, i missed all the carts :(
well not this time! i got to pick what i wanted and it was delicious:)

really good! i think it was called a walnut shrimp..?
it's kinda sweet, crunchy, and shrimpy♥

this seems to be everyone's favorite...sesame ball.
it's like a mochi ball with beans inside...
hmmm...it didn't rock my boat :(

so this guy works at the 'garage' in seattle and erika claims he looks like JT
yea, i can see JT, but moreso Ryan Phillipe!
i had to get a pic with him...it looks like i met ryan phillipe ya'll!
we asked him if he's ever been told that.
he said no, but that he gets comments about how much he looks like michael cera...
huh? michael cera?! no dude, you look like ryan phillipe's twin...!

a SURPRISE day at work...♥

i'm still shocked and very VERY thankful for this♥
i was surprised with the announcement of being the 'employee of the month' today!
my bosses did a great job at fooling me :)
they asked that i help out with a "special" project so i followed them into a room
FILLED with all the bigger upper people...! little did i know they were all there for the...
announcement!
which left me with red cheeks i'm sure!
thank you ellie and dawn♥ and anyone else who recognized me for this!
i did score a sweet certificate nicely framed (seen above)
and on top of that...ウフフ、i got one free vacation day and a $100 gift certificate ANYWHERE!
wow... *happy tears*

セーラームーン！

懐かしい!！！！！
昨日本屋さんに行って、久々に漫画のコーナーをぶらぶらしてたら、昔持っていた
セーラームーンのマンガを発見！
テレビでやってたセーラームーンはちょっと子供向けだったけど、
オリジナルの漫画はすごくいい！
大人でも楽しめる漫画★
昔持ってたけど、日本を離れる前に何処かのフリーマーケットで
売ったのを覚えてる。
（泣）
他にもたくさんのマンガ本を処分したのも覚えてる。
なので、久々に読み始めようと想っています！
キャ～！またハマリそう。。。（って私もういくつよ？）
