mmmmm greens are so delicious!
and here's my favorite grocery market, Central Market in Mill Creek.
i like to come here to get fresh ingredients. they even have an amazing fish/meat market too.
local stuff...organic...natural.. i really wish there was a central market somewhere on the east side.
today i got ingredients to make some gyoza tomorrow! i hope it turns out good.
Jones Soda Candy...!
so we all know that i'm a candy fiend! love love love candy--can't live without it!
once upon a time there was a delicious carbonated candy called "jones soda candy" made by that popular jones soda company. then it disappeared from shelves.i just assumed they got discontinued.
i randomly started searching for it again and turns out i can buy it online through amazon!
so i bought 2 cases, total of 12 tin cans of green apple candy!
so yum....so happy...!

even baby kai has his own shelf of towels, washcloths, q-tips and soaps.

(and off subject, Baby Kai is feeding about every 3~4 hours and wait for it....
he sleeps through the night!!! i'd say he sleeps at least 5~6 hours during the night.

it's the Sony Ericcson flip-phone...TM506 (i think)
no internet access..just a regular phone that took decent photos. i loved the flip phone!!

this year (since i'm no longer pregnant) i get to enjoy some red wine with my awesome husband ^_^
he cooked me dinner tonight and we are now enjoying some red wine together.
baby kai has been good too--o and the best part??
james drew me the sweetest picture! he drew a picture of me and kai and i LOVE it!
i want to make myself a print and frame it.

what a difference...!!!
so first there was a beardo-JAMES!
then there was a clean-shaven-OMG-looks-so-young-i'm-getting-flashbacks-JAMES!
he did it!!!
so, when i first met james this is what he looked like. then the beard started and that was a scruffy new look that i really liked! (and still do) the beardo hung around for years and now i'm digging the clean shaven look!
he looks so much younger....and different!! it's so strange...
he also shaved because baby kai would constantly rub his precious face against james' prickly cheekers.
and.... *blush* kissing is a whole new thing too! no more pricklies for ivy!

photobook debut...!
so i found a website where you can create your own photo book♥
i was slightly buzzed (i had some red wine) a few weeks ago and got really into it.
i didn't even have an idea...i was just fascinated with the fact that i could create my own photobook, so i started playing around.
so first i decided to make a photo book dedicated to baby kai, of course!
i'm a crazy kai-obsessed mama, so that was the first thing i wanted to do, hehehe.
then i realized it was almost my sister's birthday, so i started creating a book for her too.
these are just a sneak peek...
erika's book is titled " Hey Erika..."
it's a bunch of pictures of erika and each one is captioned with a question/statement starting with "Hey Erika..."
i think it turned out pretty funny so i hope she liked it. i gave it to her for her birthday last week.
erika's book. hehehe lots of inside jokes and funny pictures.
i think it turned out good.
and for kai's book, i picked my favorite photos of him from 0~3 months.
no captions or words so this is just a photo book.
these were a test run for me, so now i have even more awesome ideas!

just seeing this photo makes me drool...
so james showed me an interesting article.
a movie is coming out this year about the "greatest sushi restaurant in the world".
i guess it's like a documentary of (seriously) the best sushi restaurant.

i, for one, can't wait for it. definitely watching it.
being a sushi chef in japan is a huge deal. you go through so much training, it takes years and years to become a master.
