erika scoped out an organic coffee shop known her in seattle...3 locations: ballard, queen anne and capitol hill. we checked out the one in Ballard.
behold!

i didn't want to get a simple americano..i wanted to get a full on mixed coffee drink, so i ordered an iced mocha! (it was over 70 degrees on sunday...it called for an iced drink!)
they used organic chocolate...o boy was it delicious as ever!
not too sweet and actually...a bittery chocolate flavor. the best mocha i've had!
too bad the locations are so far away... if it were closer i'd be getting my coffee here all the time

happy hour...!

after work on friday a good bunch of us went out to 'hula hula' in belltown for happy hour... it's like a tiki bar :) and boy do i love happy hour! my drink was only 3 bucks <3>

kelly, jon, denise, dave and i all planned to go out to 'la casa de oaxaca' in ballard... this super super yummy authentic mexican restaurant! and it was really really good..probably the best mexican i've had in washington <3 it's so popular, we waited for about an hour to be seated.. their guacamole was delish and their margarita's are to die for ! (altho i was already buzzed i didn't order one...)
