so initially i wanted to post my wedding dress♥

it was just a picture of the BACK of my dress..plus it was at the bridal shop so it's all pinned back and stuff, but James didn't want to see it yet, not even the back.  

so here are the next things i bought.

ooo~ i've heard so much about this book.  i shall start reading it soon.

ok, this movie is FANTASTIC! loved it so much after watching it on netflix, i HAD to get the bluray

"what i'm reading"

i can't believe it's taking me this long to read this book...

i started about a year ago when i was pregnant with Kai.

and ever since, i just haven't had the time to finish a book...

and don't get me wrong, it's a great book!

i recently watched the movie too so that encouraged me to really finish this book.

i hope to finish it by the summer..! 

i already have a list of other books i want to read after this one ^_^

photobook debut...!

so i found a website where you can create your own photo book♥

i was slightly buzzed (i had some red wine) a few weeks ago and got really into it.

i didn't even have an idea...i was just fascinated with the fact that i could create my own photobook, so i started playing around. 

so first i decided to make a photo book dedicated to baby kai, of course!

i'm a crazy kai-obsessed mama, so that was the first thing i wanted to do, hehehe.

then i realized it was almost my sister's birthday, so i started creating a book for her too.

these are just a sneak peek...

erika's book is titled " Hey Erika..."

it's a bunch of pictures of erika and each one is captioned with a question/statement starting with "Hey Erika..."

i think it turned out pretty funny so i hope she liked it.  i gave it to her for her birthday last week.

i think it turned out good.

and for kai's book, i picked my favorite photos of him from 0~3 months.

no captions or words so this is just a photo book.

these were a test run for me, so now i have even more awesome ideas!

omg omg!!
so i started reading "the girl with the dragon tattoo"
OMG!
the american remake is coming out December of this year and i'm SOOOO excited!!
first off... David Fincher is like one of my favorite directors♥
i love his darkness...and his style... and i'm confident that he will make this movie awesome!
i've heard that the original swedish films are great too, but i haven't seen those.
(although they are available on Netflix via streaming)
but i wanted to finish the book...and i'll probably watch the american version first.

also, rooney mara plays lisbeth salander in the american version.
i heart her... she's my new "It" girl.
it's crazy because she has such a cute innocent face but she totally changed her looks to be like Lisbeth. she went total goth (and i'm digging it♥)
she chopped off her hair, dyed it black and even pierced her nose, lips, brows and nipples to resemble the character.
the movie poster looks awesome! and the trailer came out a few days ago... *drools*
i'm super hyped.
the trailer also plays a led zeppelin cover, sung by Karen O. and Trent Reznor.. omg EPIC!

(o, i love you borders--my typical Sunday: coffee @ borders with Jamus-- then we find weird books. i've collected quite a few coffee table books by now)
ok, to be honest a lot of these kittehs look downright ridiculous with these wigs...
but i bought it for Layla...!

so i got stuck at the Redmond borders for 2 hours because i was locked out of my apartment...
o well, borders is a fun place to chill and kill some time..
a lot of fun books out there! including this one!

セーラームーン！

懐かしい!！！！！
昨日本屋さんに行って、久々に漫画のコーナーをぶらぶらしてたら、昔持っていた
セーラームーンのマンガを発見！
テレビでやってたセーラームーンはちょっと子供向けだったけど、
オリジナルの漫画はすごくいい！
大人でも楽しめる漫画★
昔持ってたけど、日本を離れる前に何処かのフリーマーケットで
売ったのを覚えてる。
（泣）
他にもたくさんのマンガ本を処分したのも覚えてる。
なので、久々に読み始めようと想っています！
キャ～！またハマリそう。。。（って私もういくつよ？）

how awesome is that?! i've been fascinated with zombies for a good few years now and here i am working with a zombie writer ! ♫♫ i plan to purchase the book this week♥ can't wait! i believe it's only available through amazon.com at the moment. go check it out! amazon will let you sneak peek a few pages. i've heard nothing but good reviews on the book. and even better? it takes place in Seattle..!! check out that dark-haunting-space needle cover!

ooo~ sounds interesting right? it's a book that has..-frankly, just as it's titled- a series of bizarre experiments done in the past by regular peeps, the government, military, scientists, doctors, etc. i only just got it so i haven't read through it yet but...i think i'll start reading chapters on the bus in the morning. that should get the day started in a rather "bizarre" way, bwaha ♫

this "pygmy"! it's the new chuck palahniuk book that just came out. i still have other chuck books on my to-read list, but i'm looking forward to reading this one:) it's sounds a lot different from his usual stories which are dark and dirty and totally weird. this one is categorized as comedic and romantic...hmmmm!!! chuck writing romance?? makes me wanna read it even more!

books can be fun....!

a few years ago i was introduced to the author Chuck Palahniuk (that's like...the coolest last name ever! ) he's the writer of "Fight Club" which was later made into a film featuring brad pitt and edward norton... (awesome movie i might add) and just like the movie, his writing is confusingly creative and trippy--i love it ! since then i've bought up a few of his books but they've just been sitting in my bookshelf... then it dawned on me, i spend about 2 hours round trip commuting everyday to work... why not use that bus-time for some reading?!? "survivor" was the first book i read. all the regular-chuck-readers recommended this be my first book to read and i loved it. a good introduction book to start with....don't wanna give anything away so try it out and read for yourself :) if you like THIS book, then read the rest of his books...!

i am currently reading "Lullaby"... i'm only a few chapters in, so this is the point where things start to get interesting :) well i'm dying to read the next chapter so.... ta-ta !

エリピーがついに買いました！あの話題の本。。。「Twilight」です。　私は結構本のジャケットを見て「おう、これは読みたいね」とか「う～ん、ジャケットが気に入らないな～"ポイ"」って、とにかくジャケットが凄い印象的じゃないと目に止まりましぇ～ん。このジャケットスキ★　このシリーズは前から結構気になっていた本で、いつの間にかものすごい人気だそうです！来週にはこの第１巻の映画がリリースされる事まで。。。！エリピーは２日かけて読み終わったみたいで、今夜私もスタート★　来週までに終わらせて、映画も観ちゃおうかな？
