i also played a few nickel slots that night...
the rio also features a free show called "parade in the sky" it was pretty cool, and they throw out beads too♥

now...james and nick both lost in the sf competition the first day.... :( i think they were both hoping to get further than just the first day... i was kinda shocked too... i went to the convention center the first day and wow, there were so many people competing...odds were slim you'd get up to semi finals... altho cole did and i think king did too...
speaking of sf, james totally got stopped at the security point in seattle. hahahaha he was carrying his stick in his back pack and they checked for explosive devices... pretty funny ☺
i think it was friday night we all went to see a show...we saw "the amazing johnathan" a magician/comedian. it was pretty funny! got some nice vip-ish seats too...
this was the first time we actually left the "rio" hotel to the strip...and the first time we actually went outside...OMG, it was ridiculously hot i couldn't stand 10 minutes outside...it was like a heater was literally blowing into my face...how does anyone live in vegas?? at this point i really missed seattle....saturday night (after the boys went to watch the semi-finals...or was it the finals?! i can't remember...) we went to the "eyecandy" club in Mandalay Bay...it was cool but we got there around 11/12..so peeps were already drunken drunkenesses...

it was called a "lounge" but...not loungey at all..it was so loud, we couldn't even hold a conversation... but the music was cool. a lot of old school hip hop ♥ and woa, a rather big girl took over the cage dancing and she was shaking everything she had !
i wanted to see the M&M factory and was really excited (saw it on the food network once) and expected to see m&m's being made and stuff...but i was so disappointed.. it was basically 4 tiny floors of M&M-slapped-onto-any-product-imagineable- retail store... :( if i was a kid i probably would've cried...
yes...this was a sign we found in a souvenier shop that sold katana's and swords and knives... i'm not sure i believe this nor should anyone trust this sign.....
yes, that really is the restaurant name.... we had indian food the last day there and it was probably the best food i'd eaten the whole trip... when in vegas, you're stuck with greasy fried food everywhere...everthing is expensive and made to satisfy drunk cravings.... gaylord tho, was delicious and worth the price... i had lentil soup but jamus got delicious curry ♥ mmmmmm
omg...almost forgot to mention the friggin fire alarm that went off at 530 am on sunday !!!!!! it's bad enough hearing your alarm in the morning but..but...!! you're on vacay, and you get woken up by a fire alarm that just tells you "things are being investigated" at it's loudest! they don't tell you to evacuate, they don't tell you shiz ! then it finally stops and it tells you it was an accident... ARGH!!! turns out some drunk guy was smoking his cigarette in the elevator and it set it off... people please....
on our flight back to LA, our plane broke.... we got to LA an hour later than scheduled and so we missed our connection.... turns out, there's no other flight going to seattle that night !! really?! c'mon...it's just 2 states up... preeeez?! instead we get hotel accomodations (for the hilton) and some dinner/breakfast vouchers... ugh, could the trip be dragged out any longer? so i missed work on tuesday as well... :( honestly i don't like being away from work too much...i like staying in the flow of things...
so here's a glimpse of what the help desk looked like at LAX.... just problems and issues everywhere... we were probably standing for about.. an hour or 2?
anyways, i'm glad we're home sweet home. i had a blast♥ (lost $100 on slots tho... ouch!)
but i think i've made my peace with vegas... probably won't go again for a few years...! maybe..hawaii next?! hahaha
