bike passenger ivy...!

it just dawned on me that i didn't get any pictures of me-self in the biker get up for the oyster run.... NOOOOO!!!!!! erika managed to capture this one, in which i look like a ghost desperate for some coffee.... well, i'll be sure to get more biker pics of myself. maybe marty could give me a ride a few more times while the weather is still kinda nice♥

oyster run in anacortes...!

on sunday, erika and her badass biker friends all went for the oyster run ! (annual bike ride thingy...) i was lucky enough to be a passenger on marty's bike !! here we are making our first stop off the freeway (because it was so cold) and grabbing a cup of latte--yum! ♥

sunday was an awesome day !

i tagged along with the bad-ass bikers: martin, erika, sarah and drew. They all decided to join in the annual Oyster Run held in Anacortes. I guess it's more for the harley davidson-bikers but sports bikers are welcome as well. I was a back passenger on marty's bike. my only practice was from a couple days ago when we rode from bellevue to lynnwood. not enough practice apparently...because on the morning of the Oyster Run, i was gripping onto Marty for dear life !! also, i didn't sleep the night before....and i was already sore from the lynnwood ride. And now i had to endure a 2 hour ride !!! i didn't think i could make it all the way...especially after the first stop. there was unexpected fog and it was 49 degrees in the AM ! we all didn't expect it to be that cold. (glad i wasn't the only one freakin out...) initially, i was gonna hitch a ride on sarah's car after the first stop, but i thought why not go all the way? so i did ♥ i also saw other girls on the backs of their dude bikes and i started to learn different ways of hanging on. by the time we decided to head back home, i had it down! i was no longer gripping with all my might, but i was more relaxed and actually enjoyed the scenery ♫ i also forgot to mention that we celebrated the Oyster Run by eating some oysters! they were delicious. i wanted to try an oyster slider (raw...i've never tried) but we had grilled oysters. mmmm YUM.

if the gang decide to go on another bike ride like that, and if marty was willing to ride me around again, i'd go in a heartbeat♥♥

gotta say..i felt pretty cool sitting on the back of a bike ☺
