aka SEX AND THE CITY part deux!yep, i saw it Friday night with my other SATC fan-pal erika♥
i've been suuuuper excited for this sequel!
the reviews had already been out and...well they weren't exactly the best reviews...
but people don't understand that SATC is ..very much fan-driven.
if you watched the series, over and over like i have, you get to know the characters like they're your friends... i can totally understand if you haven't seen the series and went to see the movie.. i would think it was stupid too.. but i've been there from the start♥
the sequel was fantastic! i found myself smiling throughout the whole movie.
o, and let me tell ya...i've never seen a theater packed with so many women!! tickets were pretty much sold out so erika and i got stuck at the second row... i glanced back and noticed every middle-aged woman from redmond.. there were maybe 2 husbands that got dragged along. about half of them were dressed up SATC-style...and plenty of camera flashes going on... it was pretty ridiculous.. then 4 women (they had to be in their 40's) sat next to us...taking pictures, chatting, laughing ...i'm sure they were drunk from pre-movie cosmopolitans. they started taking photos of their feet! really?? hahaha it was like they were back in high school again.
as for the movie, i am fully satisfied.. i think it was a good "closure" film. another sequel is absolutely unnecessary♥ (although i've heard rumors of a ..high school pre-quel?)
