the holiday party...!

james' company holiday party this year was held at Showbox Sodo.

yea, the showbox! i had no idea you could rent out the space for private events!

it was pretty cool--the atmosphere was club-like.

dim red lights, loud music and open bar...o and they had game tables too.

poker, black jack, craps, etc.

they also had a hypnotist perform on volu

nteers and that was kind of cool.

i believe it BUT i kind of wish i knew someone who volunteered on stage so i could ask what it's like. i was afraid to go up myself, but now i kind of regret it. maybe i should've volunteered!

but i don't think i'm the "type" that can get hypnotized.

the hypnotist was saying that if you tell yourself "you DON'T want to be hypnotized" then it won't work. you have to be

willing... hmmm..

13 ppl volunteered and 5 ppl got sent back because they didn't get hypnotized.

i wonder if the others were really under his spell!! aaaa i'm fascinated!!

then towards the end of the night they had a live band performing while people mingled.

all in all, pretty cool! the venue was a cool choice.

but i missed Kai too much.... so we didn't stay too late.

outdoor movie night...!

outdoor movie night at the Redhook brewery in Woodinville♫
i guess they have weekly movie screenings on Thursdays...but you can also do a private movie night! this was james' company mini-party. i guess to celebrate the summer...but as you can see in this picture, it was pretty cold...so we had to wear jackets. not so summery :(
i've also never been to this brewery before...but my god! it's huge!!

they showed "the dark knight"--a movie i love and can watch over and over again♥
but we left halfway through the movie...
first, the movie is way too long. 3 hours... and besides i've seen it a million times.
second, MOSQUITOES!! mosquitoes love my blood...ever since i was a kid, i was the only one in the family to get bit all over. happened this night again...
i came home with 4 itchy bites :( BOO!!!!

apple ipad...!

jamus had his company holiday party last night♥
every year the employees receive a super awesome gift..!
they've gotten ps3's, kindles, etc.
this year they all got a free apple iPad..!!!
i got so excited!! but jamus being jamus didn't really care too much for it --so he's letting me play with it!! since i still need to hook up my computer i haven't been able to play with it just yet BUT tonight i will >:)

the company picnic...

james' company picnic in carnation...remlinger farms or something like that. they have horses, fruits, vegetables, organic coffee, petting zoos, etc. the picnic was a big bbq with a dj playing some 80's music, and multiple blow up jumping stations. i think it was geared more towards employees with children and families. there were many kids there! and as much as i wanted to go jumping in one of these...i knew i wasn't allowed. they are only for kids. sigh...i wanted to go in one of them SO BAD !
