yea, i'm not kidding you... the local qfc had a special table out with balloons and everything..
i went to check it out and lo and behold...it's a friggin avatar cake..!
it's hilarious more than anything!
i would be worried about getting a blue tongue afterwards...
and here's where i wonder...does anyone actually buy this stuff?
like..an avatar party? o wait...i live in redmond/bellevue... it IS possible...

did you know you can now get bacon flavored popcorn ? yipeee!!! (eew!)
i would NOT like to try this...seeing as popcorn already has that potent stench that sticks to you, i wouldn't wanna smell like bacon all day...

avatar....finally♥!

as i've posted a few days ago, i've been trying to get tickets to see avatar....
it's been #1 at the box office for 4 straight weeks now! (holy be-jeezus!)
paul realm jamus and i finally got to enjoy it last night:)
the preferable 7pm was actually sold out..again! so we went to a latter, 9pm showing.
yes, i saw it in 3D (and can they make those 3D glasses any bigger?!)
but no, we skipped out on the IMAX. the only difference is the bigger screen...
(but, i'm willing to see the movie again IF anyone *ahem..erika* would like to see it...
the visuals were amazing! it must be awesome to see it in the IMAX)

so, the story is pretty nuts...and i guess i mean that in a good-way.
it was almost believable that there would be a planet out there with these species of aliens....
it was a well thought out "idea", these na'vi. they have culture/tradition/beliefs... and by the end of the movie, i wanted to be a blue person!! o(^-^)o
some people have compared this movie to 'braveheart' / 'pocahontas' where a white dude saves the day by becoming accepted by the other race...
the movie definitely didn't feel like 3 long hours for me. i guess that's a good thing♥

by now, the movie has been out for about 3 weeks...
it's been hitting #1 at the box office for weeks straight...
it reached the $1 billion gross...
and everytime jamus and i try to get tickets...they're SOLD OUT !
it's like everyone is going out to see this movie...
word of mouth ? initially, i wasn't interested in seeing the movie at all...
but apparently it's THE BEST movie to see right now...
i heard the CG is amazing, and i'm down to see that.
with 3 hours of sitting tho...the story better be great.
o, it's a love story? kinda?
well then..i'm down♥
and i've also been told i MUST see it in IMAX 3-D and i agree...
that's what makes it so great...it enhances the visuals...and for a few bucks more, why not?
$10 to see it on regular screen or spend an extra $2 to see it in mindblowing craziness??

anyway, i'm hoping to see the movie sometime this week...please !
