alon got a new position at work and scored a new window desk too.

waaaah! my last day 9.14.2011...!

so Wednesday was my final day @ work....
the really cool part?! NO MORE BUS RIDING! Woooo~~~!!!

my work was all handed over to the new people, so i really had nothing to do at work...
but a lunch outing was planned for the day :) and i did some final clean-up around my cubicle.

all day i was feeling sad knowing the day was coming to an end fast!
and yep...i thought i had it in control but i broke down...again!
what really did it was this!
Alon had made me a card and had everyone at work sign it....
i am gonna treasure this forever!

it's not often you find a job that you actually enjoy and love and CRY when you leave the place...
i was really lucky to work there and i'm definitely keeping in touch with the peeps♥

i can't remember what all the categories were, but there were 8 categories!

i remember there was:

prettiest egg
one you'd find in disco
one that looks like a kitteh
one that looks like a dead president
best facial hair egg
....can't remember what else...

anyway, i decided to enter 2 eggs for the "prettiest egg".

this one is purple-metallic with ribbons and gold star stickers all around!
ooO~Oo pretteh!

this one is more "cute" than pretty...
i made felt flowers and super-glued them all around!
there were lots of submissions for this category so my chances of winning are slim..
we'll see!

so alon came up with a super idea (that brings back memories from grade school) to create our own "mailbox" for valentine cards on Monday..!♥
remember in grade school when we would pass out cards to everyone? and all the candy?!
!!! i now realize that valentines was probably my favorite school-time-holiday ever!
you feel loved♥ you get candy AND it was the perfect opportunity to send a secret message to your secret crush ^_^ tee hee hee! i never did though.. i was always too shy (-__-)

anyway, i'm kind of lazy this time around to build a cute mailbox, so i'm using my valentines basket i bought a couple years ago for bringing in B-berry muffins to work one day. it works, right?!

it gives you a word or a phrase and we decided to make it a goal each day to use it in a sentence!
the first word we got?! a "weenis"! who knew?! well...apparently people knew this except me!
i never heard of a weenis.. but now i know what my saggy elbow skin is officially called!
