zoo-nimals...!

the zoo is always fun to visit...every once in a while♥
it's been years since i've been to the woodland park zoo!
we were lucky to have a super sunny day on saturday...
check out the zoo-nimals!
O! and i finally got to meet Elise♥ she's the cutest baby girl...eeek!

pandas...penguins...well, i guess that's it.
and cheetahs! oy! (woodland park didn't have any cheetahs..nor pandas.
but red pandas! you'll see in a bit)

winter shopping...♥

aaah, winter is great ! i love to bundle up and drink hot cocoa and snuggle away... i also enjoy winter-wear.. thick coats, scarves, mittens, hats, boots and the list goes on! since i never had a proper 'coat' i went on a mission this weekend and fell in love with this coat! i love it♥ it's heavy, thick, comes with a hoody and soooo cute with a hint of otona-ness ☺ can't wait to wear it ! no more cold mornings for this ivy!

zombie walk + thriller dance off = OMG!!!♥

i got a text from realm saying that tomorrow night in fremont there will be a zombie walk AND a thriller dance off... NO WAYS!!! i've been dying to see one of these zombie walks, and holy cow the thriller dance off?? that's a plus! i plan to go♥ apparently they are going to try for the guiness record too...i wonder how many peeps will show up ! i'm certain i will get some amazing pictures to post tomorrow ♫ la la~♫

i've gone cake crazy...!!

on sunday...(whilst everyone went to gameworks for ANOTHER street fighter tournament...) i went solo to greenlake/seattle to visit "hiroki" the japanese cake store <3

it was located in this cutesy neighborhood and i had no problem finding it. it was a tiny cafe with a rather small selection of cakes...BUT they had tiramisu ^_^ a bit pricey too i might add... 4 slices came to 25 bucks ! O_o pictured is the tiramisu, choco-banana and chestnut (chestnut?? hmm..interesting...) the dude who helped me out was this odd character...he was japanese, middle aged...long hair..chunky...tattoo-ed all up his arms...and sporting a floral apron... HAHA!!!! it was funny :) he actually cautioned me to keep the cakes refrigerated so i kinda freaked out and drove it up to my parents... i wanted to bring back the tiramisu for james but since it was sunny i guess it might've melted away :( i'll have to get some again

i gotta say tho..it's a hard to decide which tiramisu was better--the pegasus or hiroki...

so i went to my first burlesque show on thursday night @ the triple door in seattle ★
it was amazing ! the women were all beautiful and REAL..! very colorful stage with awesome outfits and the dancing was very sensual..sexy... mmmmm ★
my favorite was the caterpillar and red queen :)
a guy even did a piece for the cheshire cat! that one was hilarious ★

fremont...(mini) market...!

purdy small.... my original plan was to go to the U-district farmers market but i somehow got confused with saturday and sunday... turns out the U-district one was on Saturday...well..i was at the IMAX on saturday... so i went to the fremont market on sunday... fremont doesn't specialize in produce. they carry more antiques, accessories, jewelries, hand made (fill in the blank)'s.... etc but the weather was so nice (hard to tell in the pics i know...) i wanted to go out and do some walking... i did find a really cute button up shirt for 25 bucks..but i didn't have cash on me so i didn't buy it...darn tho, it was so darling !!! next time.....

erika (i don't know why...) hasn't seen the famous "troll" despite living here for what...10 years now?? so i showed her the troll... pretty cool, except so many peeps were climbing and taking pictures... i wanted him all to myself :(
