sunday night i joined my sis and went to the bar her and her boyfriend-martin work at. they asked if i wanna work so i said yea thinking it was half joking, but they really let me work!! wow so much fun! but i think i was more nervous than anything... i don't know all the mixed drinks out there... but i had fun serving beer and making simple drinks like screwdrivers, cranberry vodka, etc. being sunday night, it was kind of slow but a good amount of people for first time bartender ! and it was karaoke night☆ hahahaha i had a blast! i even brought home some tip... tee hee hee

nice to meet you, ninja!

so i finally got to meet "the ninja"!! omg...it was so much bigger than i thought! i can't believe erika is able to maneuver this bike !! but it's definitely one awesome piece of machine☆

hahahahaha!! i look like an alien trying to sneak up on martin...

so martin drove me around the block!! wow !! it felt so good~ i liked leaning while taking the turns☆ i think i can handle a faster ride...i think...

i think this scooter is more suitable for me... hahahaha!!!

roadtrip...

wow... i can see the vanishing point!!

so we started driving up around noon.... i drove, so i couldn't get much photos
but here's me the next morning getting ready to start the drive again...!

so we left friday noon and got to seattle saturday 8pm.... not bad!!
the roadtrip was a whole lot of nothing...most of it being farmland, mountains, etc...
i'd definitely like to drive down to california again someday, maybe taking the 101 and PCH along the ocean with a better view...! and i definitely wanna visit san francisco again too...!

it's the final countdown....!

well...the time has come for me to disconnect my computer...
i rely so much on my computer, it'll be weird not to log on for a few days...yikes!
my plan is to pick up my pops at the airport noon-ish...grab a good lunch...hit up the japanese store for last minute things...and start driving up the good 'ol I-5!!
we're going to try to get to sacramento the first night... i hope we make it!!
i'll try to get some cool shots on my drive up so i can post it later on my blog...

yep, today was a somewhat scattered day....

i have 2 days left here and i'm feeling a bit anxious...
i had a lunch appointment with kim, my now ex-co-worker. she bought me lunch at
nordstrom's cafe... it was my second time eating there and i must say..delish!!
i love their pasta but today i had soup, since my jaw still feels slightly sore from the dentist..argh
but i definitely recommend the cafe ! very good food

i don't go to the mall too often, so when i do go i have to check out H&M..
apparently they just opened an H&M in Seattle ! i'm glad i'll still be able to shop there..
definitely an ivy store..! affordable and very cute/modern style..
i ended up buying a few things...but we should all spoil ourselves a little time to time right?

these panties are so darling..!!! i couldn't decide on a color so i got both....

well i've been getting my stuff together and did my last laundry load today...
i'm starting to worry whether or not these "things" will all fit in my car..!!
i am dedicating all day tomorrow for loading my car! wow..the end of a mini-chapter is really here.....

i have an annual pass to both disneyland and california adventures....!
so i figure why not go one last time before i leave right??
we spent the whole day at the park and got on every ride we wanted..!
my favorite?? hmmm...california screaming and tower of terror..!!
indiana jones is fun too :)

dentist.....

i went to the dentist this morning... found out i had cavities ! (i hadn't been to a dentist in 2 years...bad bad !) so i ended up at the dentists til this afternoon getting fillings and a partial crown... yikes ! looks like i'm really gonna have to cut down on my candy intake...

and..more flossing? arrgh...

the dental clinic i went to was awesome...they had a flat screen in front of me and i got to choose a movie to watch while they worked on my teeth..!!
guess what i chose to watch?? DIRTY DANCING.. yep yep !

Hermosa Beach....

hermosa beach...!

hermosa beach is up north from where i live... if you take the PCH it's past Long Beach and Torrance... (quite a ways...)
hermosa is much more calm, laid back and personal..compared to huntington or newport...
nice beach houses are lined up by the beach, versus shopping malls and restaurants around HB..
apparently "the O.C" was shot at hermosa...but i wouldn't know that-erika would..!!
