alice in wonderland in...3D o my!

saw alice in wonderland today...in 3D! WOO!
i guess i've been kind of excited for it...maybe(?)
expectations were high though... and after the (in my opinion) chocolate factory flop, i wasn't
sure what to expect really...
good things first though!
visually, it was awesome! loved the colors♥ and i LOVED the odd proportions of the characters
the red queen had a HUGE head-- crispin was super skinny and tall..the drugged out rabbit from the tea party...haha!
but then...i felt it lacked an...oomph! hmmm well, the story was different from what i'd expected.
but truth be told, i've never read the original alice in wonderland book. my only alice reference is the classic disney movie 'alice in wonderland'. so i thought it'd be the same story from that..but it was totally different. jamus pointed out though that she's older in this one and they reference the (disney alice) as a memory..so this was like a ...sequel? i have no idea @_@
and...i can't believe i'm gonna say this but johnny depp didn't do it for me either :(
i know he and burton are best pals but..after using depp over and over, all these characters are just starting to sound/act the same :( i couldn't help but notice some wonka in the mad hatter..i even sensed some jack sparrow from the mad hatter! OY!

the 2 buddies who will never do a movie without each other....

so all in all, it was an o-kay movie.
buy my vote still goes to the original disney classic 'alice in wonderland' ☺

our first anniversary...♥♥♥

jamus and i have been together for a year now !

as of november first...( at least that's what we figured was the day we started going out )

boy was that a fast year!

and i loved every minute of it !

and i hope for another good year♥

we had a fondue night @ home and watched snow white. i've never seen it!

he also got me the sleeping beauty blu-ray and an itunes card... *kya!* (i've secretly got a list of songs i want... thank you pandora !! )

i'm trying to start collecting all the disney classics but i've only just started.. so far i've got snow white--sleeping beauty--little mermaid <--my personal favorite♥

it's been a while since i've had fondue so we decided to go with that. i already have my own fondue pot. we cut up some goodies to dip and it was delish... altho i'm not so sure jamus liked it :( i hope he did... the cheese is pretty strong and that wine smell... ( i personally like it ) but now i'm definitely fondue-d out!

DJ Hero

jamus was telling me today about DJ Hero today(DJ version of Guitar Hero) and he decided to purchase it ! so i tagged along with him to Best Buy to check things out...

then i realized now was the time for me to purchase the Snow White dvd before it gets put back into the Disney Vault! (i really dislike this vault thing... beauty and the beast! come back!!!)

so we got the DJ Hero...

and then i found snow white.... except i spotted a packaged up snow white! it came with a dvd and all 7 dwarf dolls...♥ i'm a sucker for cute stuffed dolls !!!

it's priced 59.99... i debate...and debate... and debate!

should i? shouldn't i?

$30 more for the dolls...hmmm...

then it dawned on me i had the ShopSavvy app on my phone! (it's a feature where you can scan any barcode and it'll tell you where you can go to get the cheapest deal...) it brought up best but and said it was on sale for $38....

so i ask a BB lady... she scans it... turns out, it IS on sale for $38 !!

i'm so glad i had the app on my phone ! and i got such a great deal!

uh oh...2 days left !

yep, today was a somewhat scattered day....

i have 2 days left here and i'm feeling a bit anxious...
i had a lunch appointment with kim, my now ex-co-worker. she bought me lunch at
nordstrom's cafe... it was my second time eating there and i must say..delish!!
i love their pasta but today i had soup, since my jaw still feels slightly sore from the dentist..argh
but i definitely recommend the cafe ! very good food

i don't go to the mall too often, so when i do go i have to check out H&M..
apparently they just opened an H&M in Seattle ! i'm glad i'll still be able to shop there..
definitely an ivy store..! affordable and very cute/modern style..
i ended up buying a few things...but we should all spoil ourselves a little time to time right?

these panties are so darling..!!! i couldn't decide on a color so i got both....

well i've been getting my stuff together and did my last laundry load today...
i'm starting to worry whether or not these "things" will all fit in my car..!!
i am dedicating all day tomorrow for loading my car! wow..the end of a mini-chapter is really here.....

disneyland....!

i have an annual pass to both disneyland and california adventures....!
so i figure why not go one last time before i leave right??
we spent the whole day at the park and got on every ride we wanted..!
my favorite?? hmmm...california screaming and tower of terror..!!
indiana jones is fun too :)
