i went out to celebrate my 30th!!

couldn't get my parents to watch kai overnight, so James was stuck watching him...

too bad because i wanted to celebrate with him the most.

but i still had fun!

we had dinner, drinks, pool and hung out with some VERY fun people♥

erika's birthday...!

saturday was erika's 26th birthday...and we went to mini-celebrate!

she came over and hung out with kai..then we walked over to my neighborhood bar.

it's so close...literally a 5 minute walk. which is nice!

james volunteered to watch kai for me so YAY! i had a few drinks...

wow...my face is...red?! 

i guess my tolerance is back to zero...

so erika got an exclusive insider tip about a Pearl Jam CD release party..and the rumor was that some of the band members would be there...!
as you know, i was a huge Pearl Jam fan (ooo i heart eddie vedder) back in the 90's..but it was brief. about a few years of hardcore pearl jam addiction...then i moved on. but i really got erika into pearl jam... she has since become an official Ten club member and seen his shows many many times now. Learning that there was even the slightest chance that Eddie Vedder would be there, i decided to go! but no... no one showed up... but then again, we only stayed til about 1030.
i'm old and i can't stay out late anymore...especially on a Monday...

but hey! freebies! i got a bouncy ball and a sticker

the locations was the "feedback lounge" in west seattle.
i've never been to west seattle for an outing before... turned out to be a cool/hip bar!

rock musician posters everywhere...there was even a glass case filled with pearl jam goodies...
maybe one of the members own this place? they're from seattle afterall...

it looked pretty nice inside..and c'mon, it correlates with your favorite vampire movie!

Bandits happy hour...♥

so this was last weekend...
erika and her crew wanted to go out somewhere in seattle... since it was a friday and i was still in the area (due to my job being in belltown) i decided to join♥
turns out my co worker was celebrating a birthday at the same time...so we combined crews and drank away ^_^

hmmm...not sure what was going on here...
maybe i was trying to intimidate her...? O_o

ok, totally got photo-bombed here...

drop shots...fun but...way too much to drink in one swig!
took me a while to finish...

this turned out hi-larious!
we just wanted to look...sad..
and it turned out insanely good!
we genuinely look like we're about to bawl our eyes out!

o, and i must not forget the after-party-kancho-war!
don't know what a kancho is? hahaha, look it up:)

i got hit once...but i succeeded in 3 kancho attacks!

sam's 30th bday ♥

we met up at buca di beppo in seattle for sam's bday dinner♥ here's mike, sam, and her son Jonathan.
also, i coincidentally ran into james' nintendo co-workers! i saw vivek, trevor, karen, scott and scott's wife and little boy♥ he was so darn cute !! and his wife is so darn pretty!

then we headed to the barca lounge in capitol hill. we thought we had reservations but there was some sort of mix up... we still found an area but we all got 2 free shots on the hizzouse
