ooo~ i was browsing vimeo and found this amazing video of Tokyo♥
vimeo is such a great (video) site to browse around--so many creative people out there!
i love the music and the time lapse shots of tokyo...oh tokyo, i miss you (-_-)

the eggmeritus easter egg contest...! *UPDATE*

i can't remember what all the categories were, but there were 8 categories!

i remember there was:
ugliest egg
prettiest egg
one you'd find in disco
one that looks like a kitteh
one that looks like a dead president
best facial hair egg
....can't remember what else...

anyway, i decided to enter 2 eggs for the "prettiest egg".

this one is purple-metallic with ribbons and gold star stickers all around!
ooO~Oo pretteh!

this one is more "cute" than pretty...
i made felt flowers and super-glued them all around!
there were lots of submissions for this category so my chances of winning are slim..
we'll see!

my new favorite craft store...!

so i totally forgot that there was a craft store a few blocks from my new apartment--(yea! i could even walk over there it's so close!)
it's ben franklin's arts & crafts... (i think.. something like that)
their sewing/fabric section is smaller than joann's..BUT i found the cutest fabric here!
i got carried away and bought a ton of the little bundles of fat quarters!
and omigod so many owl chans!..and more!

i was in a rush too, so i'm gonna spend some time over
there next weekend and totally browse around♥

(we're currently in the middle of 'the office' marathon. we're on season3 right now)

i didn't bother taking a photo of EVERY gift i got, but i got great stuff♥
art books, movies, posters, clothes, new earphones, etc.
Jamus even donated $150.00 to 'benefit autism education' in my name! that was really cool of him

snooki is in the building...!

so my work building has been undergoing a few updates in the lobby area !
before, it was just a plain 'ol empty lobby with gray walls and... nothing special about it..
and now, they've started a mural on the lobby walls!
quite colorful and i guess this would be 'impressionistic' style..(not my favorite but colorful is good!) well... it looks like the artist managed to sneak in a pop culture semi-icon...

it's called "tilt photography" and i've never heard of this before!
oh man, i'd love to explore different techniques with photography.. but it's so expensive (-_-)
this technique makes people look like miniatures!

the smash putt-apocalypse...!

ok, so i THINK these are the deets...
there's an abandoned "immigration detention facility" in the international district in which they temporarily installed a putt-putt golf exhibit..! my co-worker discovered this and we got tickets to go..! it was pretty crazy..! each room had different set ups..but the building itself was still an abandoned "immigration detention facility"...yes, detention facility!!
hence the photo of an artfully altered toilet in one of the detention rooms..! YIKES!

i just pooped an exotic plant..!! while smiling !!
