i purchased some goodies for her upcoming baby shower~
connie hearts frogs -- what better theme to welcome a baby boy??
there were soooo many cute things i wanted to get!!! but i controlled myself
and decided to go with these--very cute!!

surrounded by spawners....

yep...you know you're getting old when you're surrounded by married couples... and then you feel even older when they start spawning! well...let's see here, i have 3 baby showers that i know of coming up and...well, frankly, it makes me feel small and i feel like a poop!

i guess it's because we're all in the same age-range and yet i haven't moved up that ladder yet...
but it's typical me, i'm always the late bloomer..the last person to accomplish anything really...
(if you consider marriage and babies an accomplishment... i do, i think it's a beautiful thing!)
but it also depends on who your friends are... maybe i need to find single friends my age who aren't married? that way i won't feel like a poop... it's just that when it's all around you, i feel like i'm left in the dust... and i can't help but compare myself...oy, it's hard to explain...
i guess it's a girl thing...? or sadly, it might be an ivy thing :(

erika and i (well..mostly erika) baked a last-minute cake tonight to fulfill our cake-craving★ we both had a sweet tooth today. old school japanese style ^_^ it says ケーキ食べたい...aka... i want to eat cake... hahahaha ! it was delish and i'm having some more tomorrow!
