free latte day...!

in honor of November birthdays, hires and anniversaries my company got a latte catering service...! complete with baristas and HWhip cream!
(we usually do some sort of deck party--hot dogs, burgers, chips, blah blah)
but with the cold winter faaast approaching, the warm lattes were a delight!
i don't know what Andrew meant by 'crappy' espresso catering... this was fab!
especially because we got the catering service from Elegance Espresso--the cafe i frequent in the mornings. And actually one of the regular barista gal served the espressos today♥
(she even topped my drink with X-tra Hwhipped cream)
the only downside? ... small size!! they used the 'short' cups :'( BOO!
BUT since it was unlimited drinks from 8:30-10:30, i could have gone back for a second cup if i wanted...
anyhow, free latte! WEEEEE!

so, at the cafe i frequent during work for my espresso fix gave out free bags o espresso beans today! yay! and i have a coffee grinder at home too...plus a french press, looks like i'm gonna have some great coffee to enjoy at home too♥

salted caramel hot chocolate...♥

actually no... sadly, i do not heart this beverage :(
i fetched this drink for sam and it's her favorite!
it's hot chocolate...with caramel...and a pinch (more like a packet) of salt!
i tasted it and...well the salt confuses my taste buds :(
but there are people out there who LOVE the chocolate+salt combo...for example james!
he would probably heart this drink.
when we went to mt baker last year, the japanese gals brought some chocolate covered chips and james LOVED it♥ another example: chocolate covered pretzels...
people LOVE it but i don't :( salt and choco don't go together...
sweet and salty should be kept in different dorm rooms...
but maybe i'm the odd one out...
