PJ20...!

so erika got an exclusive insider tip about a Pearl Jam CD release party..and the rumor was that some of the band members would be there...!
as you know, i was a huge Pearl Jam fan (ooo i heart eddie vedder) back in the 90's..but it was brief. about a few years of hardcore pearl jam addiction...then i moved on. but i really got erika into pearl jam... she has since become an official Ten club member and seen his shows many many times now. Learning that there was even the slightest chance that Eddie Vedder would be there, i decided to go! but no... no one showed up... but then again, we only stayed til about 1030.
i'm old and i can't stay out late anymore...especially on a Monday...

the locations was the "feedback lounge" in west seattle.
i've never been to west seattle for an outing before... turned out to be a cool/hip bar!

rock musician posters everywhere...there was even a glass case filled with pearl jam goodies...
maybe one of the members own this place? they're from seattle afterall...

so when i crashed at andy's after saturday night, i couldn't help but notice the amazing posters he had all around his house... o..m....G! erika would TOTALLY love it !

here's a poster from who knows when...looks like it was from a tour soundgarden and pear jam did together... it was a huge poster too!

now talk about a huge poster...well, this was a canvas print. of course, by banksy...

i totally want one.... i asked him where he got it and unfortunately..it was purchased in London.. psh, of course... europe has all the cool stuff... AY! i want !! really, any sort of huge banksy canvas print would be so cool... i'll have to start hunting around♥

pearl jam + seattle = ♥

today, erika and martin went to see pearl jam perform at (i believe) the key arena ♥

i'm oober jealous O_o the last and only time i've seen them were at the gorge a few summers ago. altho i love pearl jam, i'm not familiar with their current/newer songs...and i actually only prefer their older ones... i should ask erika, but i don't know how much of their older songs they perform anymore. they're quite active and are still releasing albums at a consistant pace..but i really lost track... i'd love to attend a pearl jam concert where they solely perform their older hits...but i kinda doubt they'd do that...?

the one i really wish i'd gone to was the eddie vedder solo / into the wild concert. erika went up to canada to see that one ! i was still in california at the time so..i totally missed my opportunity..

a smaller venue would be nice too...i mean really, at the gorge, he was a tiny spec :( i want the up close experience with eddie !!
