yay happy valentine's day to all !

this year (since i'm no longer pregnant) i get to enjoy some red wine with my awesome husband ^_^

he cooked me dinner tonight and we are now enjoying some red wine together.

baby kai has been good too--o and the best part??

james drew me the sweetest picture! he drew a picture of me and kai and i LOVE it!

i want to make myself a print and frame it. 

i'll post a photo once i get it framed.

i seriously felt like a kid again!

so alon came up with a super idea (that brings back memories from grade school) to create our own "mailbox" for valentine cards on Monday..!♥
remember in grade school when we would pass out cards to everyone? and all the candy?!
!!! i now realize that valentines was probably my favorite school-time-holiday ever!
you feel loved♥ you get candy AND it was the perfect opportunity to send a secret message to your secret crush ^_^ tee hee hee! i never did though.. i was always too shy (-__-)

anyway, i'm kind of lazy this time around to build a cute mailbox, so i'm using my valentines basket i bought a couple years ago for bringing in B-berry muffins to work one day. it works, right?!

i must say, it was fantastic!
i also had a glass o wine♫
i managed to find a photo of the exact entree i had!
it's the ahi tuna with wasabi sauce (mm...that sauce was so good!) and rice♥

for dessert, i had some cookies baked my the famous jamus...
my favorite! choco chips♥

when i came into work this morning i had a whole stack of valentine cards from everyone!
awww!!! it felt like i was back in grade school again♥

and yes, we love chocolate but we really don't need THIS much chocolate...
i, especially have a personal battle with chocolate, so if i got this bouquet, i'd be upset...
upset because the guy should know that i already have a hard time trying to limit my choco-consumption... and to bring this to an ivy?! bad...bad idea!
and it's not even the better-kind o' chocolate! it's friggin hersheys!

i had the loveliest valentine's day this year...! not only did i get a dozen pink roses (!!!!) but jamus took me out to an awesome secret restaurant where we had a course meal..! yea ! a course ! it was my first time and i thought it was very 'otona'. hehe :) and per plate, we were served different types of wine that helped enhance the food, or something... WOW ! i thought it was rather fancy and very enjoyable! too bad they were out of the chocolate fudge cake for dessert... but i had strawberry cheese cake instead :) Thank you James !
