it's completely fixed...!

i'm a happy panda !!!!!!
my good friend paul fixed it completely and i couldn't be happier!
we basically re-started everything...and it took us 9 hours O_o
i didn't know it could take this long... i'm so thankful for his time and computer fixing magic!
after all, he works with computers and knows pretty much EVERYTHING about them.
i was impressed...it was like i was in the matrix or something..all the codes and whatnot..
i bought him dinner at "typhoon" thai restaurant for all this trouble

i've already seen it but erika hasn't.. so we watched it last night♥
love this movie!
i always had a thing for skater boys...(like back in high school, oy! ♥_♥)
and always had a fascination for California (hence why i moved there temporarily) ...and this takes place in the 70's (my favorite decade that i wish i was alive to enjoy) ... it's basically the time and place and boys i would've loved to be around...! o, it's also based on a true story♥

so i blogged in the past about a cupcake shop that opened up in RTC called

they are very fancy-pants...and expensive...but i knew i would have to try it someday.
erika and i decided to get one.. after all, it was sunday funday.
i got the chocolate with salted caramel cupcake...erika got the lemon cupcake
it was good! but..oof, the frosting on top was waaaay too sweet... i barely touched the topping...

she's notorious for losing things...misplacing items...forgetting where she left important stuff... well..not surprisingly it's happened again.. she just purchased a new digital camera and..well she's missing her charger and usb cord... it's nowhere to be found outside of her room...i think it's somewhere in her hurricane-struck-messy-room of hers... hahahaha you'll find it soon..

mmm! i found the best croissants in town!
the french bakery in bellevue carries the best croissants...my favorite is the spinach & feta croissant...they warm it up for you and it just melts in your mouth♥

they also carry a variety of cakes...i haven't tried any yet but..wow! that chocolate goodness and this fruit tart is so pretty♥ one day...one day...

erika got a new fujifilm camera... and as ya'll know, i'm not happy with my current digi toy :(
i have the nikon coolpix i purchased on black friday..i don't know if i was in a rush or what, but i spontaneously bought it and i'm not satisfied... don't get me wrong, it takes great pictures but..i don't like the interface and displays and...i can't do certain camera tricks i did with my old fujifilm.. i guess you have to play around and experience different brands.. looks like my next camera will be the fujifilm♥

castle in the sky...♥

miyazaki hayao has become well known in these past few years...with the success of "spirited away" but waaaaay before THAT success, he'd been creating amazing movies since 1984 with NAUSICA. but my ultimate favorite is his second film "castle in the sky: Laputa" that came out in 1986 and i grew up watching the movie. i recall watching it almost everyday during the summers in japan when both of my parents worked. (ma was working at the local japanese deli for a while) but we were old enough to stay home alone. Laputa is so magical! i always and still want to be her! she's an orphan who holds this magical stone that was passed down to her in her family for generations...and when she falls, it lights up and she can float! I WANT ONE! ♥ anyway...disney bought/distributes all of miyazaki's movies and "castle..." had been released in the past but they've re-released it with the ORIGINAL J-cover♥ i was hoping to watch it with jamus but apparently the subtitles are not exactly translated from the movie...they've translated the english dubbed version... STUPID in my opinion.

oh-em-gee people!

yes, another late discovery on my part but i LOVE "the office" ♥
i guess i discovered the show a few months ago and....HAHAHAHA it's hilarious♥
it's currently in it's 6th season and i'm really itching to get their DVD's so i can watch it from the start! i adore steve carrell and the characters in the show are just...AWESOME!
the humor is..well i don't know, is it considered "dry-humor" ?
i also like it because it's not a sitcom and they don't run a laugh-track or anything...it's like a documentary and they explicitly acknowledge the camera crew...love that element of the show.
if you haven't seen an episode yet, watch a few! i guarantee it's funny!
or it's possible i find it funny because i work in an office too.... hahaha
