so i don't live in Belltown, but i live in Washington and Belltown is a part of downtown Seattle!

厚～い！！今日は珍しく80度（F)を越え、めっちゃ厚かったよ～
こんなに厚くなるの知ってなくて、ジーパンに靴下＋靴・・・
サンダル履けばよかった・・・
明日は90度越えるらしい、そして木曜日は98度！（－＿－；）
サンドレス出さなきゃ♥
そして今日Downtown歩いてたら木が倒れてました。
そう、今日風がすごくて、自分も吹き飛ばされそうに。髪もめちゃくちゃに（笑）

deck partay...!

our monthly work deck party was today♥ and YAY for the suN!
i got a shot of the beautiful waterfront.
i enjoyed a garden burger and we sat and chilled on the deck for half an hour... and i started sweatin! might have tanned a bit too...
and i noticed the sculpture park had something going on...turns out, this summer they're trying to do a farmer's market every week! how perfect--I've been trying to see the Redmond farmer's market for sometime now and i never make it... so I'm gonna check out the market post-work today! :D man...it feels like a Friday today...

me and katie, woot woot! also, i've started training for my new position this week. turns out, i get katie's OHIO communities♥

Jaliscos is a mexican restaurant right by my work... it's the usually "spot" for any kind of celebration--at work. Connie who used to work with us recently moved back from Texas.
so we went out for a welcome back lunch...and not just that, she's also pregnant! wow!!
jaliscos...food-wise...pretty good. i found the enchilada to be too cheesy...very greasy, oy!
but i loved their chips and salsa... their pico de gallo is amazing! unlike the usual kind, they add raw cabbage..and lotsa pepper! yum yum♥

Birthday bash @ belltown billiards...♥

well, first things first... at the end of the night this gal came up to me out of nowhere and was like "ivy?! ivy?!?!"
umm...yes... who are you...?
"it's marjorie!!!"
omg people...marjorie was a classmate of mine back in japan!!! back in junior friggin' high!
easily 13~14 years ago! O_o she lives in bremerton right now (there's a naval base there)
and happened to come out to seattle that night. it was a nice coincidence and i'm still dumbfounded that she was able to recognize me from across the dark room ♥

last friday erika and i went to see kim at her art gallery FOSTER/WHITE GALLERY near pioneer square (place is sketchy as hell!)
we discovered flying pigs on the way!
i believe this warehouse used to be an underage club back in the day... it's been bordered up and covered in flying pigs

kim made us dinner...delicious baked salmon and pasta! mmmm♥
i absolutely love their house. magnolia is an area i'm not too familiar with but the neighborhood is really chillaxed

carly is hi-larious! i'd like to think of her as the girl version of josh

by the end of dinner, i was soooo tired... combination of it being a friday, early morning start, wine and...just being old i guess :( all the other gals went to frontier in belltown to go clubbing... i had no energy to dance... and i'm not sure i'm too fond of the bar..

friday night was much fun♥
we went out to seattle with great people
karen suggested we go out to 'the saint' in capitol hill.
not a tequila bar but they specialize in margaritas.
boy was she right! their margaritas were awesome!
the restaurant was very cute. it's almost hidden--i would totally walk by it without noticing a restaurant there. the lights were so dim; it gave off this certain 'mood'.
romantic? sexy? o-to-na? :D
anyhow, i approve♥

afterwards we tried a new club in belltown...
i think it was called either 'copper car' or 'cooper car'
hello asians!! so many asians...i was boggled!
we arrived pretty late too, the dance floor was quite stuffy...sweaty...muggy..
and of course we can't forget the infamous hot dog stands you see EVERYWHERE after you leave a club... what a great business for those guys!
i mean EVERY stand had lines and lines of people....

so this was last weekend...
erika and her crew wanted to go out somewhere in seattle... since it was a friday and i was still in the area (due to my job being in belltown) i decided to join♥
turns out my co worker was celebrating a birthday at the same time...so we combined crews and drank away ^_^

hmmm...not sure what was going on here...
maybe i was trying to intimidate her...? O_o

ok, totally got photo-bombed here...

drop shots...fun but...way too much to drink in one swig!
took me a while to finish...

this turned out hi-larious!
we just wanted to look...sad..
and it turned out insanely good!
we genuinely look like we're about to bawl our eyes out!

o, and i must not forget the after-party-kancho-war!
don't know what a kancho is? hahaha, look it up:)

i got hit once...but i succeeded in 3 kancho attacks!
