yes, my parents have returned form their trip to Japan and they brought back some goodies♥

since they took the train everywhere and checking in bags and carry ons are now strict and expensive, they couldn't bring back a whole lot of stuff.

it comes pre-packed like this. comes with a wooden utensil too.

comes with a sweet sauce.

(i don't use the sauce since the mochi is already sweet.)

i know, super old school. popular back in the 90's. 

well..i started wanting one again! 

i researched to see if they even sell them anymore...and they do.

but in japan, they're even bigger! they had a few more "popular waves" since the 90's and they are (still) constantly releases newer ones, special editions, etc.

this one is the princess spacy version and one of the coolest upgrades is the color screen.

anyway, i've been playing with it for a day now and it's just like i remember. 

(but with a few extra games and stuff)

o and with this one you can download stuff from the internet...haven't tried yet but it's pretty crazy.

i wonder how soon i'll get bored of this one...just like the last ones...

since i watch kai all day, i've somewhat neglected my tamago-baby...

and i ended up with this not-so-cute star superhero baby...

日本に帰ってからもう１０年以上するなんて、信じられないよ！
やっぱ一生　"マイ・ホーム"は日本だね。
育ったのも日本だし、たくさん遊んだし。。。
ただ大人としてはまだ日本の経験がないんだよね--仕事とか、家族とか。。。
まあ、こんどはベビー連れて行って、楽しい事いっぱいやろう！
ベビーに同じ経験をさせたい、日本とアメリカの両方のchildhoodあげたい。

FIFA world cup 2010...♥

wow! soccer is so much fun to watch!
i've always liked playing soccer during my PE classes back in the day
(and all other racket sports)
and i recall attending a few soccer games during my high school years☺

i've been rooting for japan of course☺
USA wins too much of everything..(olympics, taking over the world...)
so i gave my support to japan!
of course by the time i started watching the games, japan had already won 2 games!♥
and surprised a lot of people actually... they were the last asian country standing...
unfortunately today, they played against Paraguay and lost :(
o well...they came pretty far.. farther than the US !

now i'd really love to attend a sounders game. i don't know how festive the sounders games are but from watching the World Cup in Africa, the audience is just ♥_♥!!
they are festive, loud, colorful, and..just FESTIVE!! and i love that!
it's like Japanese baseball games where people chant and make noise and wave flags.
but baseball in america is A-Boring!!!! it's so quiet you can hear people crack their peanuts...ugh!

hmmm...so how do i get my hands onto some Sounders tickets..?

we spent a good half hour chatting up about japan...

o how i miss you japan..

but there's just too much going on that it's getting harder and harder for me to return for a visit...
