happy hour...♥

on friday, andrew (IT Guy) put together happy hour post-work. yay! we went to hula hula (like a tiki bar...amazing drinks and super cheap) then headed to the "solo" in queen anne for more drinks...! it had lotsa fun but...drank a little too much...

my boss even bought a bottle of vodka before we left and we all took shots before heading out... YUM! mandarin vodka was surprisingly tasty ♥

my car got broken into again !!!
and my cd player got swiped...along with my new prodigy cd i had in there....
i am officially a sad panda...

why?!?! why must you people break into cars and steal crap?! my cd player wasn't even fancy ! couldn't even play mp3 files ! no input for an ipod ! did you really want it??! well i hope you're happy now... no one's gonna buy it! it's probably worth 5 bucks! i'll give you 5 bucks if you just stay away from my car! o boy...i'm steaming mad and sad... :(

this is the 3rd time my cd player got stolen from this very car... so i've decided to never install a player again... since that's what they want ! i don't drive around much anyways... and i can just sing to myself for entertainment... so screw you losers who think they make awesome bucks pawning players !

mmmm...i went to seattle's "chocolate box" to get james a bday cake ♥ just a cute tiny cake :)

here it is ! i forgot what it was called... it's really small...hard to tell in the pics but they're smaller than the palm of your hand...it's super delicious but MEGA-sweet ! the 2 of us couldn't even finish one of these.... we'll savor it ♥

adorable huh? i came home one day and saw kiki sleeping on the window sill... how cute ! and when i went into the apartment, erika was sleeping two... awwww, they're like sisters!

ridiculous....!

so today after work, kelly jon and i headed over to the nordstrom rack to help jon pick out a new pair of shoes...(he wanted some girl advice)... i checked out their shirts and my o my...the racks definitely had these leftovers for a while...i mean, who would buy this shirt?! and check out the shirt in the background...yea that rainbow striped polo shirt...my o my... other craziness i saw were board shorts with gold fish all over them... yikes!

that one irish pub....!

erika james and i went to the (new) irish pub in lincoln square/bellevue...right under parlor. what's the place called again? it might've been just "irish pub"...hmmm...
anyways i had 3 glasses of wine and that did me... their happy hour appetizers are delish ♥ and we stayed long enough to see a live performance of some ...hmmm..fiddles? flutes? what are those called again?

oof...everytime i see these pictures i remember the concert♥ so amazing! thanks erika for these pics...i'm still upset i was stupid enough to forget my camera...

marrakesh in belltown/seattle...!

so yesterday my co workers and i finally went to "marrakesh"--a moroccan restaurant in belltown/seattle ♫ this was my first time trying some moroccan dishes and it was delicious ♥ the restaurant itself was like a huge carpeted area with pillows everywhere! it was super comfy ☻
i had 2 glasses of cabernet and got pretty....buzzed/drunk
i ordered breka vegetarian, like an egg roll with potatoes and stuff in it

they even had us wash our hands just like this so we can eat with our fingers like they do traditionally.... they still provided us with forks tho ♥

the highlight we waited for were the belly dancers but...unfortunately, we got to the restaurant too early... belly dancers don't come out til later... so we decided we would come back another time at a later time and enjoy the dancers ♥ yayness!

after dinner we made a short stop at the "shorty's" bar and ordered another drink! i haven't been back to shorty's in ages...! it's a really cool bar with pin ball machines in the back, and old arcade games you can play for a quarter... the tables are all made out of old broken pinball games too. neat bar ♥

UP...!

jamus and i got to enjoy the new pixar film "UP" on sunday @ lincoln square♥♥♥

not just any CG movie...but in friggin' 3D!! yea, we had to wear somewhat silly glasses and i got to see jamus in it....pfff hehehe ☺

i really couldn't tell what the story was going to be about from just the trailers...but it got such great reviews i was sure i would enjoy it ♥ i don't want to spoil anything so i won't go into detail BUT i gotta say...the first part of the movie (and i mean maybe 15 min into it) i started crying... it was a tear jerker! overall great movie--really loved it and now it's almost hard to decide if i like wall-e or UP better... ! go pixar !

and their short-film was another adorable one ♥ i think it was called "partly cloudy"

prodigy+keith flint=♥...!

ok ok!! i can hardly contain my excitement in blogging about my concert night from saturday...! USC 12 (annual dj/electro concert aka united state of consciousness) this year featured the prodigy, crystal method and kaskade...! of course prodigy was what i was looking forward to and it was by far the BEST-est concert of my life ♥

the show started at 8 (we didn't get in til around 830) and ended at 4 + an after party that lasted til 9am but we didn't stay that long. i immediately purchased a commemorative prodigy t-shirt with the concert dates listed on the back (yay!)

then we hit up the bar... figure we should get some drinks in before it gets too crowded. outrageous prices but they were made somewhat strong so i had a good buzz all night☺

so this doesn't become one long paragraph, i will blog as i caption my photos !

yes this is keith flint, my favorite prodigy member...and yes i rike him so much it's almost like a crush ♥ he shook my hand !! but i'll get into that later...!

paul was cool to come along with us ☺♫ one of the only people i know that listens to electro music like me! yay paul!

so erika totally took pictures of me dancing.... HAHAHAH i never get to see this side of me...hmmm..interesting... definitely having lotsa fun therrr

the first few shows were DJ's i don't know very well so we stayed at the bar a few hours... then kaskade came on! gotta say, his stuff was really cool. great beats...totally went on the floor to dance to kaskade!


this is the bar area... it was nice to be separate from all the other teen candy ravers...hahaha i felt slightly more otona

crystal method also played a set but gotta say...didn't really feel it... i've seen crystal method before but this show they didn't leave an impression on me... :( BOO!

ok, here are the prodigy pics i took...not that good because it's my cell camera but i managed to catch some keith photos... i stayed up front on the right side of the stage against the rail. didn't get too squishy, super comfy and real close to them!

so during the whole prodigy show, keith would come up to the edge of their stage and point in my direction....and with his super black eyeliner i'm almost confident he WAS looking at me! i even asked paul! but anyway, everytime i thought he was looking in my direction i just jumped and screamed and waved and did so many things at once (probably looked silly really....) then about halfway through the show, keith hops off the stage and walks all across everyone on the rail.... he gets to me and points, smiles, and reaches out for my hand ! YES that's right! he reached out and i got to shake his (sweaty) hands !! O.M.G!! i screamed, almost (wanted) to faint...and couldn't stop smiling ☺prodigy had always been on the top of my "to see" list and keith was who i always wanted to see in person and i cannot believe i got to shake hands with him. i know it probably sounds silly, like it's no big deal but hey...to ivy, IT IS ! this is my second day post-show and i still can't stop smiling ☺ thanks keith ! you're awesome , love the eyeliner, love the new cd, great performance...come back again !!!!
