MGMT...!

i am absolutely in LOVE with this cd, this band, the cover....everything !! i've been eyeing this album for weeks now and i finally decided to purchase it yesterday... boy am i glad i did (O_o)
MGMT (aka the management) is (briefly) a new york punk band... from seeing the cover tho, i woulda guessed they were a couple of surfer dudes from cali or something, hahaha
anyways, their sound is very different...it's punkish, it's sometimes disco-ey, alternative, sometimes congo-ey (?)...and i love the voice.... i recommend anyone try to listen... i really love Electric Feel, Kids, Time to Pretend.... those are my top 3 from this album ★

i haven't really seen pictures of the band too closely, but from THIS album cover the dude on the right kinda looks like joseph gordon-levitt...one of my faves ★

seriously..i can't believe we missed out on buying concert tickets for lady gaga.... they went on sale in january...of course they'd be sold out by now... NO~!!!!!!!! when will she be back again??

realmちゃんが24歳に。。。？え～！！！ますます自分がおばちゃんって感じがして仕方ない。トホホ
ベルにあるインド風カレーの（ちょっと高級な）レストランでお食事。なす入りカレー頼んだけど、これが超美味しかったの！日本のカレーとやっぱ全然違う。「これが本物か～」って一人でビックリしてた。（笑）
食事の後は近くにあるクラブでちょっと飲んで、かなり酔ってしまい。。。。結局帰りの車の中で寝てしまい、集まるはずだったアフターパーティーにも行けず、結局酒には弱い私でした。

きゃ！綺麗。。。やっぱお姉さんって感じ。

organic organic...farmer's market...!

"organic coffee house" or "SouL Food Books" i guess? there's been this organic coffee house right by my place that i've been curious about and i finally went to explore it the other day....

they have a cafe that serves "organic coffee" and "espresso" drinks... which makes me wonder what makes it organic, but i think it's locally grown or something... since i'm doing my "lent" right now, i didn't buy any coffee...but i might go try an americano or something today. they had books on astrology, spiritualness, meditation,e tc...they had rocks, stones, incense, etc. pretty cool shop. they even had a live band area too for drum circles.

and now, my co-worker xine mentioned her lent was to stick to organic foods.... what a great idear! it sounds expensive, but she hits up all the farmers markets during the weekends which got me kinda interested. i went to some in california but haven't been to any here, other than pike place market. i'm gonna try to go to one this weekend in the U-district. i hope i find some fresh goodies !!

no candy...!

i am a major candy junkie.... sugar junkie.... choco-holic...name it! so for lent (i'm not religious or anything...but the hype of lent led me to decide on something i would give up for 40 days..so it's just a way to see how far i could go with this...how much self control i have) SO~ candy it is ! this include all candies, chocolate, cakes, cookies...sweetened coffee drinks...soda, ice cream... you get the idea! i've been going 4 full days now! YES! with all the dentist visits i've been having, it's a good thing anyway.... and besides i can't eat like i used to anymore... age is catching up with me ! metabolism slowing down... sigh... so we'll see how far i can go ! ouen yoroshiku~!

yep...ladies and gents..you have just witnessed a rare opportunity where jamus decided to try on my scarf...! not only is he wearing a scarf, but he's playing street fighter with it ON!!!!

and today was round 2 in the street fighter 4 (official) tournament that's been going on and jamus made it to round 2 but...unforch, he lost... i think he came in 3rd place... he had to get either 2nd or 1st to move on... aaah well, i still scored a wristband ! :D

sunny walk in seattle...!

i got off work at 2 yesterday and didn't want to immediately go home so i decided to walk from my work all the way to china town...! it was a super sunny beautiful day, i felt safe enough to go alone...so i did !

on 1st ave all the way down to downtown area are all these fabulous condo's... wow, expensive to the max -i'm sure of it!

there's all these cute bakery shops and coffee shops too... !

so this morning i wake up and BAM! 2 inches of snow...?! i thought we were done with snow !!!! spring is only a few weeks away!!!! let this be the last...PREEZ!

so we finally got connected yesterday...geez setting up a router was harder than i thought...!

realm had her bday celebration over the weekend and i have some pictures i need to post... i should be able to post them tonight !

yep... i missed the show (and i'm mad at myself for missing it...) but Heath Ledger won the Supporting Actor Award... YESSSSSSSSSS!!!!! i re-watched the announcement for it on youtube and i got a little teary-eyed... :(

we're so cool we're so gangsta, we (finally) got internet access...! you had to be therr....the dude that sold us our internet thought he was sooooo cool, he wore sunglasses the entire time...indoors mind you... W-O-W....

jamus is the (sf4) store champ at the RTC gamestop ... ! hahahaha he really did win ! the 2 winners got wristbands and a headband, so i got me one... hee hee apparently the next round is in issaquah and if you win there, you get the six button sf4 controller...then after THAT, you win an sf4 joystick controller..then! then! after THAT, you go to san fran and eventually you win the actual arcade game machine... DANG !

street fighter IV...!

yep, it's out..it's finally out. street fighter IV is OUT... it's a lot more fun to watch than the older street fighter games so that's cool... and i tried playing a little. pretty fun.

what's hilarious tho is apparently EXILE did the theme song for street fighter IV, and in the american game some dude is singing it in english ! hahahaha little do these ppl know they are listening to JPOP... OOoOoOOOoo~!!

so i started playing some sagat on the new sf4 and wowa !! i can throw fireballs one after another like super fast...! deffo better than sf HD.... i played against the comp and did and does and meant to do the ultra super move and it was cool :D tiger uppercut fever!!!
