anyhow, i love what she got me!
on my wishlist i noted "fuego" as my favorite store and she got me the cutest shirt♥

me and katie, woot woot! also, i've started training for my new position this week. turns out, i get katie's OHIO communities♥

Jaliscos is a mexican restaurant right by my work... it's the usually "spot" for any kind of celebration--at work. Connie who used to work with us recently moved back from Texas.
so we went out for a welcome back lunch...and not just that, she's also pregnant! wow!!
jaliscos...food-wise...pretty good. i found the enchilada to be too cheesy...very greasy, oy!
but i loved their chips and salsa... their pico de gallo is amazing! unlike the usual kind, they add raw cabbage..and lotsa pepper! yum yum♥

we had great fun but the bus ride back was...not so fun...

"it's marjorie!!!"
omg people...marjorie was a classmate of mine back in japan!!! back in junior friggin' high!
easily 13~14 years ago! O_o she lives in bremerton right now (there's a naval base there)
and happened to come out to seattle that night. it was a nice coincidence and i'm still dumbfounded that she was able to recognize me from across the dark room ♥

i know...it's been WEEKS since my oregon trip but my computer has been down and i've been unable to upload photos... i've been a sad panda for weeks now *tear*

spur of the moment OREGON...!

erika and i decided to be spontaneous and drive 4 hours down to oregon to see a few friend(s)♥

i promised her a few weeks back i'd go but she fell sick with a sinus infection so that plan got pooped out! (still coughing) but now that she's feeling better, i agreed to go!
4 hours total...just about. the drive down was sunny and beautiful♥

i wish we had the time to stop by portland and walk around a bit...but we were trying to meet up for dinner. portland is pretty♥ lots o green...trees...some cool buildings but i still prefer seattle over portland... (oo...did i just say that out loud?)

popeyes... ok, the last time i had a popeyes chicken was in alabama when i was a little kiddo...
i thought it didn't exist in washington state, but it does! unfortunately we SUCKED at finding one no the drive back so...we couldn't enjoy ourselves popeyes.

our final destination was benton county, corvallis / albany.
wow what a small town! and i sware we were the only asians....
i could not see myself living there.... :(
