i happen to drop by my parents out of the blue and my ma had prepared sashimi♥!
she had enough for me to enjoy as well--YUM!
some (deliciously fatty) yellowtail and restaurant-grade salmon (srsly!)

so my ma is not a drinker...she RARELY drinks.
but recently she kinda started enjoying a drink here and there..(usually she'll ask for a sip from my dad's glass) well, it looks like they got her an official beer glass. it's so tiny it's ridiculously cute! she'll fill up a that tiny glass of beer and that's it... her face turns kinda red too..
hahahahaha （笑）
i then proceeded to show her the iPad jamus go the other day and she was amazed!
i was surprised at how quickly she picked up on how to use the iPad o_O

and we can't forget the keekster (kiki)
why is she so tiny?? she's this tiny ball of cuteness♥

it's a local pizza spot that had great reviews and jamus heard they were supposed to be quite delicious♥ yep they are! you can even order a mini-size. here's my 8 inch pesto, artichoke, mushroom, sun-dried tomato pizza! YUM
i ate that whole thing!

and for the carnivores, this meatalicious pizza.
mmm i think i found my favorite local pizza (well Pagliacci is still pretty darn good but too expensive)

so there was a mini cookie bake-off at work!
i kind of heard about it throughout the weeks but totally forgot about it...
i think the rules were that they had to be baked from scratch... and possibly organic?
anyway... i don't bake desserts..ever.. so i didn't participate.
but i did participate in the eating part!
i was surprised Wes actually baked cookies from scratch...!

and alon's cookies were super cute♥mine was specially delivered to me ♥
i wish i could bake cute things :'(
i may start experimenting with baking!

apple ipad...!

jamus had his company holiday party last night♥
every year the employees receive a super awesome gift..!
they've gotten ps3's, kindles, etc.
this year they all got a free apple iPad..!!!
i got so excited!! but jamus being jamus didn't really care too much for it --so he's letting me play with it!! since i still need to hook up my computer i haven't been able to play with it just yet BUT tonight i will >:)

santa chihuahuas..!

o my goodness this is too adorable!! 2 chihuahuas totally decked out in santa-wear (including a santa beard!) ...but the poor doggies... that's a lot of stuff to be wearing.. i'm sure it's uncomfortable and heavy :'(

omg! i was seriously like a toddler in a candy store--squeee central!!
cute things everywhere!
what is this you say? it's an annual (could be semi-annual) expo-ish event where local crafty artsy creative people get together to set up their own booths and sell/demonstrate their work!
i saw a lot of yarn, knitting, sewing (clothes, baby clothes, dolls, pillows) paintings, cooking, jewelry, stickers, magnets, books, etc. like wow!
most everyone is well established--they have a website, they sell their stuff on etsy.com, some even have their own shops, etc. i can see this being a good way for them to gain exposure.
i must say though, a lot of if was expensive. original prints, paintings, clothing were very expensive. i found a lot of cute jewelry i would totally wear, but also very very expensive :'(
i wish i had more spending money...
but i did manage to purchase a few things and i left the expo totally inspired!!
i can't wait to get my sewing desk set up so i can start getting creative♥

o yea, i got so lost looking for the venue... i didn't realize how BIG seattle center is..
seattle center could mean anything.. there's a billion venues!

cakespy was there! cakespy is a local artist (she has a shop on capitol hill) and she draws cupcakes! i bought a couple postcards and a magnet. my favorite would be the cupcake and bacon cocktail party♥

this is a painting on wood block--it was kinda creepy and weird but that's what i like about it!
i really wanted the one with a red background and hearts all over it but she only had it in a large wood block... she has a website. i should see if i can find one online♥

some other things i got♥

there was also a 'punk rock flea market' going on in belltown so we checked it out--oh my gah!!
this place was even cooler..! flea market = cheaper stuff.. but by the time we got to the flea market i had spent most of my money at the urban crafts :'( and on lunch :'(
o man! i would've stayed for hours just looking through all the stuff if i didn't have night plans..!

i LOVE rings! ridiculously big ginormous rings!
the problem is i could never find my size...

i found this lovely one at the flea market and it fits!
it's handmade and i love it♥
can't wait to check out more flea markets... mmm it's like treasure hunting!

a cold sunny day..!

heading over to the Seattle center and voila!
it was so bright and sunny (but still brrrr cold) there was a permanent rainbow at the fountain♥

organic apple beer...!

who knew? delicious beer DOES exist♥
i'm not a beer person--bitter, burpy, ick..
but i spotted an organic apple cider beer! jamus got it and i took a sip-hey! it's like juice!
i've had Lambic before and that stuff is delicious as well, but it's very expensive and a lot sweeter. this one was much better. not TOO sweet, pretty strong alcohol percentage and it's organic! hehe alon says there's a 'pear cider' you can get.. i'm gonna look for one next time.
