i had my birthday...♥ *28*

o geez! i'm now 28--such a weird number to be!
i'm getting really close to my 30's...ooof!

as i do every year, here are some fun facts about the number 28! ::
the average human menstrual cycle is 28 days (fun times!)
the number of days in February is 28 (except leap year)
there are 28 dominoes in a standard domino set
an old calendar becomes new again every 28 years
both "28 days later" and "28 weeks later" are great movies!

the owner of the bar actually commented on my blog about a year ago (when i blogged about st patty's day) i was drunk enough on this particular day to chat up with the bartender who turned out to be the owner! he remembers commenting on my blog--hahaha! funny!

congrats to them!
i really like her--i find her super gorgeous and well..Prince William is kinda meh...
i'm excited to see what the royal wedding will be like.
i'm sure it's going to be just crazy big and lavish!

i remember my parents got married the same year Princess Diana and Prince Charles married.
i'm the same age as Prince William and Erika is the same age as Prince Harry too.
unfortunately Prince William beat me to the altar....

a white birthday...?!

it has been unbelievably cold lately--my face hurts just being outside!
and my fingers are ice cold as i'm blogging right now..(i should turn on the heater)
SO i've been eagerly waiting for some "snow" predictions on our local forecast...
well lookie!!! it looks like November 20 & 21st might be our first snow days of this winter!
omg omg!! it's been changing between rain and snow but it's back to JUST snow♥
i just might have a white birthday! i remember it happened a few years back so this is quite possible☆

there's suctions on the back to i'm gonna stick him up on my shower wall--can't wait to use him!

so my work building has been undergoing a few updates in the lobby area !
before, it was just a plain 'ol empty lobby with gray walls and... nothing special about it..
and now, they've started a mural on the lobby walls!
quite colorful and i guess this would be 'impressionistic' style..(not my favorite but colorful is good!) well... it looks like the artist managed to sneak in a pop culture semi-icon...

it's called "tilt photography" and i've never heard of this before!
oh man, i'd love to explore different techniques with photography.. but it's so expensive (-_-)

so i had a dream couple nights ago-- i'm really good at remembering my dreams.
the casting line-up usually involves close friends, family, etc and RARELY i get celebrities to make a guest appearance♥
well this time around it was randomly Keanu Reeves--(does he even act anymore?)
the dream goes:

i was attending college and so was he. he didn't look like the above photo. instead he had that crazy beard grown out and he was wearing a gray hat and...well he basically looked like a bum.
then for some reason i approached him and asked him out!!
(crazy! i've NEVER asked a guy out in my life!)
then....
BAM!
i got rejected (;_;)

i woke up super confused and..kinda hurt...

then i started googling Keanu, wondering where he's been these past few years.
(i'm a google whore!)
then i remembered a few tragedies he's been through and i came upon this "sad keanu" photo..
taken by a paparazzi. keanu was just sitting at a park bench alone (kind of sort of) enjoying his sandwich... apparently this photo got huge on the web and people started photo shopping it in all kinds of situations.

i had a sudden urge for some bloody mary tonight... mmm! when it's good, it's good!
when it sucks..it sucks.. (i had a bad bloody mary at Bellevue's Parlor believe it or not)
so i went on a bloody mary mission--i bought all the ingredients and made my own!
for the record i've never made one before...
i never mix my own cocktails. i leave that to the bartender...
but it wasn't bad! not the best but decent. it's very filling though :'(
all that tomato juice gets heavy on your stummy... oi!

time for rainboots..!

wow today was a record rainfall! it was non-stop pouring rain for most of the day!
i usually hate it...but this year i was smart and i invested in rainboots♥
now my jeans won't get soaked...nor will my feet get wet!
behold, my red & black rain boots by 'dirty laundry' :)

with these on i can purposely walk into puddles--i can even add a little stomp and create a splash!! now i need to invest in a good raincoat to keep my hair in good shape..
what? umbrellas you say? forget that!!
i gave up on umbrellas...last year i inverted 3 umbrellas out in public to my embarrassment!!

yep! jamus & i have been together for 2 years..wow! it makes me smile (^o^)
i got beautiful red daisies♥ !! and we had a dinner date *smitten*

he got me french truffles, the newest season of 'sunny' on dvd and my own paddy's irish pub tshirt!! :D AWESOME!!
i heart him and like he said-- i hope the next year will be even better! ♥
