alon got me started on 'Animal Crossing: City Fold', Wii version.
the game actually came out back in 2008, so i'm kinda late....
but it's so cute and fun! and it's all real time udpates!
i'm still building my town and trying to make it prettiful....
i got to visit alon's town and wow! i'm jealous! she's got so much going on!
hehe..anyways.. i'm kinda hooked...

omg omg!!
so i started reading "the girl with the dragon tattoo"
OMG!
the american remake is coming out December of this year and i'm SOOOO excited!!
first off... David Fincher is like one of my favorite directors♥
i love his darkness...and his style... and i'm confident that he will make this movie awesome!
i've heard that the original swedish films are great too, but i haven't seen those.
(although they are available on Netflix via streaming)
but i wanted to finish the book...and i'll probably watch the american version first.

also, rooney mara plays lisbeth salander in the american version.
i heart her... she's my new "It" girl.
it's crazy because she has such a cute innocent face but she totally changed her looks to be like Lisbeth. she went total goth (and i'm digging it♥)
she chopped off her hair, dyed it black and even pierced her nose, lips, brows and nipples to resemble the character.
the movie poster looks awesome! and the trailer came out a few days ago... *drools*
i'm super hyped.
the trailer also plays a led zeppelin cover, sung by Karen O. and Trent Reznor.. omg EPIC!

L.A. Noire...!

i'm not much of a gamer, but this game is awesome!

i'm horrible at navigating and using the PS3 controller so i just watch but this is highly recommended! it's a crime solving game and i LOVE games like this! puzzle/solving games.

it takes place in Los Angeles in the 1940s..the graphics are awesome!

the scenery, graphics, and the story overall is so realistic it's very o-to-na!

i don't care for violent games or fighting games.

like grand theft auto? psh... don't like that game.

street fighter? meh...it's so not-real! who throws fireballs?

but LA Noire? totally real.. i approve!

we play a detective and i assist james in solving crimes. hehe i'm his partner in crime!

oo! better get back to solving crimes!

anyway, i decided to enter 2 eggs for the "prettiest egg".

this one is purple-metallic with ribbons and gold star stickers all around!

this one is more "cute" than pretty...
i made felt flowers and super-glued them all around!
there were lots of submissions for this category so my chances of winning are slim..

a gray strand of hair.....

i found my first gray strand of hair...!!!!
i was straightening it over the weekend and spotted a noticeably shiny strand of hair....
i had to check it from different angles before i was sure it was a gray hair...
omg...can i blame this on pregnancy??

i still can't believe it... i pulled the hair out and i taped it to my mirror...
i'm gonna show erika next time she comes over.

so this was on Friday--i was exhausted after work so i was being a lazy bum sleeping on the sofa.... then jamus came home and said he bought me a funny April Fool's card.

i freaked out at first... it was on April fool's day so i repeatedly asked him if he was joking.
that would be so mean!
but it's no joke!♥ he just thought it would be funny to do it on April fool's day.
after midnight i asked to make sure this was real!
yes it's the real deal!
i said yes♥ OF COURSE!!
*followed by snotty embarassing happy tears*

he bought me red roses, non-alcoholic champagne (mamechan) and a ring-pop for now!
cherry flavored! (mmm loved ring pops when i was a kiddo)

as for ring shopping, he wanted me to go with him so we'll see! i've never ring shopped before... i have no clue! so happy i still can't believe it...
