crown...!

another dentist appointment today...

today i had to get my temp filling out and replaced with a temp crown...also got an impression of my tooth so i can get that permanent crown put in ! geezers...how many steps does it take for me to get my tooth back?! anyways, i got numbed again and went under the laughing gas this morning...then had to drive back home and bus to work--putting in as many hours as i can today so i won't have to do friggin 4/10 hour days again... i managed to get 4 hours in...

but what an exhausting day...too much to do on a monday!!

前のアルバムの何枚かはバラード系が多かったりしたんだけど、今回はまた久々にダンス・テクノ系になってて気に入ってる★　でもやっぱりあゆっぽくない感じがして、無理やりにダンス系に挑戦してる感じがして仕方ない。う～ん、みんなはどう思うんだろう。

so i went to my first burlesque show on thursday night @ the triple door in seattle ★
it was amazing ! the women were all beautiful and REAL..! very colorful stage with awesome outfits and the dancing was very sensual..sexy... mmmmm ★
my favorite was the caterpillar and red queen :)
a guy even did a piece for the cheshire cat! that one was hilarious ★

because i'm on a "no candy" lent-ish thingy til easter i've managed to collect all this candy from different work parties and co workers...without eating them! Mmmmm! can't wait to eat them :D and yes...it's mostly chocolate...

so i like kanye west's "heartless" that's been playing on the radio for a while now...and that would be the only reason why i'd try listening to this album... i don't normally buy american cd's but jamus had this so i borrowed it...

i'm in love with this cd...! yes he sings in all of them... yes he's got that weird voice changer thing turned on...and not much rapping...but i likey★
the beats are amazing...he uses synth-ish sounds...and i can see a lot of girls liking this cd more than guys

boom noodle...!

boom noodle opened up on the east side...! i've been curious about this place and didn't really know what kinda 'noodle's' they were about... turns out, it's (almost) authentic japanese ramen shop...! their website also states they wanted something like an 'izakaya'... how COOL!
i checked their online menu's and they sound delicious...!
i think they just opened this last weekend so i hope it's not too packed... i really want to try it tonight★
anyways, i better head off...! ＊_＊

mum's bday dinner....!

hey mum!!! happy birthday! (march 24th)
tonight we went out for (considering my parents never go out to eat, a rather NICE restaurant) for my mother's bday★
yep...sushi!
and fer dessert we had 煎茶ブルレ(sencha brulee)
i've never had it before but i know cream brulee is the dessert amelie likes to crack with her spoon... so i was fascinated! i totally cracked it! the top is sugar coated but the inside was like sencha cream of some sort... they said the inside part wasn't too sweet so i had a few bites...YUM

so thomas and i do our usually walk from work to downtown seattle on friday's usually.... we've been lucky these past few weeks with not having to deal with rain too much... but last friday! geezers! it started pouring outta nowhere! so we ran to a starbux and had some coffee til the rain subsided... i never took any photos with him so here he is! my co-worker with the contagious laugh :)

lunch with lykins...!

so it turns out i work in the same office building as my old friend lykins...! i noticed there was a video game company on the third floor of my building and always wondered if MAYBE i might know someone who works there...and yep:) so last Wednesday we stepped out for lunch at the nearby CJ's (delicious breakfast food btw) and chatted for about an hour. i looked through my old party photos and found this picture of us (circa 2004) at the "black and white" party. it was funny because we wore the same-ish outfit and i'm 5' --lykins is 6'6!!!!

jj mahoney's...!

st patty's with nick and mari...! we went to jj mahoney's which, it turns out, IS an irish pub..! man, i wore green and thought i overdressed and took the holiday too seriously...but NOPE! ppl were dressed up like it was halloween! wigs, costumes, CAPES, glowsticks...wow... st patty's turned out to be more popular than i thought:)
but i was really looking forward to drinking some green beer but to no avail.... a little bummed but instead i scored a free light up cup! YESSSS

there's ivy chan waiting on jenna and her party of 12 peeps at the crab pot in bellevue... i wasn't hungry enough to do the whole experience thing with the wearing a bib and digging into seafood spilled onto the table BUT nonetheless, i enjoyed their appetizers★

ballet debut...!

so i got 2 free tickets from my work to the Pacific Northwest Ballet theater for last night.... apparently my works founder/president was debuting in last nights performance...so he was holding a bunch of tickets for any of his employees... i jumped for free ballet tickets!! i've always wanted to go and missed going to the nutcracker this winter...
i gotta say i really enjoyed the show...we had balcony seats and wine was served... a very otona atmosphere...a big orchestra band....and the ballet dancing was beautiful... very soothing too... now i really wish i was a ballerina as a child :(
i enjoyed it so much that i may consider seeing another show in the near future:)

i feel like i'm back to being an 80's kid again... monchicchi is like the japanese version of the cabbage patch kids in the 80's..! i totally had one ! don't know if my mom still has it somewhere, but they seem to be making a mini-come back these days... found a really cute monchicchi keychain pretending to be a frog and i HAD to get it...so cute:)

安室ちゃん：グラマラス＋ツアー映像初公開！

今月は雑誌「LUIRE」「GLAMOROUS」に表紙で登場。これはグラマラスからのカット。前髪がすごく可愛くて、１０代の女の子に見える☆　他にもテレビや芸能ニュースで安室ちゃんの現在回っているツアー「ベスト・フィクションツアー」からの映像がやっと見られるようになったのだ！きゃ～昨日（？）横浜アリーナでのライブを終えたばかりで、初めて新曲の「WILD/Dr.」を熱唱:) 映像はちょこっとしか見れないけど、ＤＶＤが超楽しみ！「WILD」はプロモと同じ振り付けで、「Dr.」は後ろのがめんにアニメが流れてて、すごくかっこいい振り付けをしていた。早く全部見たい☆★
今回は「休むことなく、トークなしで２時間半３０曲を歌い踊り続ける」があちらこちらのニュースで放送されていた。やっぱ歌姫は安室でしょう？！

fremont...(mini) market...!

purdy small.... my original plan was to go to the U-district farmers market but i somehow got confused with saturday and sunday... turns out the U-district one was on Saturday...well..i was at the IMAX on saturday... so i went to the fremont market on sunday... fremont doesn't specialize in produce. they carry more antiques, accessories, jewelries, hand made (fill in the blank)'s.... etc but the weather was so nice (hard to tell in the pics i know...) i wanted to go out and do some walking... i did find a really cute button up shirt for 25 bucks..but i didn't have cash on me so i didn't buy it...darn tho, it was so darling !!! next time.....

erika (i don't know why...) hasn't seen the famous "troll" despite living here for what...10 years now?? so i showed her the troll... pretty cool, except so many peeps were climbing and taking pictures... i wanted him all to myself :(

what's with the weather...?

so after i saw 'watchmen' on saturday, i was bus-ing home when erika called and i decided to meet up with her in bellevue instead... so i switched buses and was on my way to the bellevue transit center when it started (randomly) hailing! believe it or not, in the 10 minutes it hailed, it stuck on the ground about 2 inches and my bus just couldn't make it up the hills on 8th ave... all passengers were kicked off... so i got stranded... cars were sliding everywhere, it was kinda crazy! erika couldn't even come get me so i had jamus come get me... my personal superhero... not just for these situations but for everything★

the bus driver let me wait inside the bus tho, while i waited for jamus... he was pretty cool and rather excited about the whole (bus getting stuck) ordeal

i watches the watchmen...!

so i went out to the seattle pacific science center to watch the "WATCHMEN" via IMAX !!

the cool thing about the IMAX is the quality, the 6 story-high screen and awesome sound..! watchemn was a good movie, but honestly, it was a little confusing to me :( i'm notorious for not understanding movies right away... usually at home when i watch a movie i need subtitles to keep my attention focused on the story. everyone else who saw it had already read the graphic novel so they totally knew what was going on. after watching it tho, i think i wanna read the novel, and perhaps see the movie again. but the effects were AWESOME!

another sunny day...!

after work ( i got off at 1:30) i decided to trek down to downtown again, but i decided to check out the pike place market... i actually haven't been down there for a while... then i remembered the piroshky shop right therrr so of course i bought one ★　超おいしかった～ポテト・マッシュルーム・チーズ入りみたいな。ほかほかで、寒い日にピッタリ！

外側に出てるマーケット達。アクセサリー・手作りバッグ・絵・など、小物とかたくさん売ってる。

きゃ！毎回歩くたびに通り過ぎる「チョコレート・ボックス」　今は甘い物禁止だけど、必ず入って何か美味しいもの食べよ！
