'twas movie-date-night
i watched it last night ! yep !
gotta say...it was pretty darn good♥ aliens, violence, co-existence, and..presented almost like a documentary-esque film...hmmm, i think that's what makes it feel real too...
and it's different from other alien movies. we co-exist in this one, and there are no communication barriers. just the whole idea of this film was different from all other alien movies i've seen. the effects were good, the acting was good, and i don't really remember any cheezy moments... i'd definitely recommend this movie to anyone♥
so go see it !

really, i want to take it to james' place and use it on the pillow i use there (his pillows don't have a case...) but i think he'd be like "what what?!"

ooo~ sounds interesting right? it's a book that has..-frankly, just as it's titled- a series of bizarre experiments done in the past by regular peeps, the government, military, scientists, doctors, etc. i only just got it so i haven't read through it yet but...i think i'll start reading chapters on the bus in the morning. that should get the day started in a rather "bizarre" way, bwaha ♫

pot roast at fams..♥

my grandmother cooked my gramps' favorite dish, pot roast last night. so i was invited to come over and enjoy some of the meal. it was delish indeed! my favorite part...potatoes!

then i chatted with my gramps a little bit and spent about 20 minutes explaining who "jon & kate gosselin" were... (they are currently in tabloids everywhere regarding their failed marriage)

the company picnic...

james' company picnic in carnation...remlinger farms or something like that. they have horses, fruits, vegetables, organic coffee, petting zoos, etc. the picnic was a big bbq with a dj playing some 80's music, and multiple blow up jumping stations. i think it was geared more towards employees with children and families. there were many kids there! and as much as i wanted to go jumping in one of these...i knew i wasn't allowed. they are only for kids. sigh...i wanted to go in one of them SO BAD !

happy hour...♥

kelly and i decided to do some shopping friday after work. we went to H&M and nordstrom rack for shoes. luckily, i found some really cute, really tall guess shoes (wedges) SCORE !

then we met up with sam, andrew and jon @ shorty's.

shorty's is that cool pinball/pacman/arcade bar. they are also known for having delicious hot dogs. kelly got us a german sausage with sauerkraut. YUM!!!

then sam jon and i headed to U district and..well..some drama may have ensued... not sure i should go drinking with certain guys anymore... just bad news.

i don't normally watch television...just movies, occasional late night shows...

but i saw commercials for a competition show called "dance your ass off" and it caught my interest... basically, a group of large/overweight contestants compete every week by losing weight by way of dancing... every week is a different style, like hip hop, tango, jazz, etc.

jamus and i have been watching it every week and it's quite entertaining.

these are the judges...ok, that's cool. yes, every competition show needs a few judges to determine who gets eliminated. but that first lady, mayte garcia...isn't she gorgeous?! i've had a girl crush on her since the first episode.... she's just so exotic... so i looked her up. she's one of the judges because she's a choreographer.

turns out she's done choreography for britney spears...and even before that, she was prince's main dancer on his purple rain tour !!!! and..! and...!!!

she was married to prince as well...!!! omg!! how sexy !! they are divorced now but still...what a gorgeous couple... prince has good taste♥ my fascination for prince and everything prince related continues to grow... hahaha

doggy poop...

yea, i know...looks cute right? might be funny right? maybe a poop with super powers or something? or maybe he can fly!

wrong.... i can't really recommend this to anyone... (it's a korean claymation...-and i learned this later -...'religious' short...)

he is one emotionally sensitive poop...i didn't think a doggy poop could bawl out so many tear drops....let's just leave it at that...

the rain is back....♫

it's official...our rain has returned ! and not only rain ...it even thundered in seattle today!

i wouldn't have suspected 'rain' when i stepped out this morning, but luckily i had my portable pink umbrella with me anyway. i've put it to good use ! but we had such a downpour, i got soakage anyway...it didn't help that i wore flip flops either....

rain also causes unnecessary back up everywhere...it slows people down for some reason.. people, it's only rain !! you can still drive normally! so not looking forward to commuting via bus during the rainy season....

my next prince mission....!

yes...i've heard of such movie..but i've never seen it nor do i have a clue of what it's about...

so..is it a movie about prince? like..an autobiography? or some crazy love story starring prince? is it based on a true story? does it rain purple drops of rain ? is that really prince sitting on the motorcycle or is it photoshopped? does the story revolve around his pre-seinfeld pirate shirt..?!?! aaaah! so many questions ! i need to see if jamus would be willing to add this movie to his netflix...i won't make him watch it with me, as a matter of fact i'd like to dedicate a solo night for just me and purple rain... purple rain being a dramatic/beautiful song, i'm expecting the movie to be the same...if not, more intense ! ( i hope♥♥)

i had a dream a few nights ago where in the future you can send digital objects through texts...like transporting objects... so in my dream, i get a text from jamus. he sends me a pocky...and next to my cell phone i see the pocky come into existence and transports to me. YEA! how cool this would be♥

yes i did, i finally did ! i purchased "the very best of prince" and it is the very best indeed♥
i've been listening to this album at work for days now:) how is it that i didn't listen to him back in the 80's / 90's?! i'm boggled! boggled at myself! he's just oober awesome♫

and then i also purchased the new cd by cage, "depart from me...". i came upon this cd by accident. i learned about cage from alex. his previous album was "hells winter" which btw was pretty friggin' good. so i didn't hesitate to pick this one up. beside, check out the cover ! so...cool...! ♥

swamped...!

very...swamped...continuous...incoming...work...

this is how it's been for a week at my work...we started a new accounting software last week and...it's been so hectic... time flies tho! and i like staying busy..but the downside is i'll have to come in during some of the weekends..like tomorrow :( but i'm not complaining! i'm glad i like my job♥

and it's days like this i get to come home and chill...have a glass-o-wine with my jamus ! ♥♥

that's right peeps...i knew the seemingly-unstoppable-beautiful-sunny-weather was too good to be true... today was a very gloomy day..just about as gloomy as gloomy-bear... i had to dig out my sweatshirt to wear in the morning *gasp*!! but...i must say, it was kind of a nice change. we seattle-lites aren't used to days of consecutive hot weather...so i think many people are glad the coolness is back. including me..!! i'm also a tad bit excited to see if it will rain anytime soon so i can use my new supah kawaii pink umbrella♥
